Attaboy

One of the best Cocktail Lounges in Nashville. The custom made drinks here are delicious and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. The seating is limited here, so you stand outside the door until they have a seat for you. Only then will they let you into the lounge. There are no drink menus here. You simply describe the type of drink you want and the fantastic bartenders will make it for you. They do a great job. I enjoyed a Preakness cocktail with Rittenhouse Rye neat. The Preakness is a variation of a Manhattan. It was delicious. I also enjoyed a perfectly made Vieux Carre. The time spent at Attaboy was really enjoyable. This place is a must try if you're in East Nashville. I can't wait to return.

Attaboy's vibe of underground speakeasy, without a menu, where you give the mixologist the opportunity to create a beverage for you after you've given a list of your favorites is freeing! It's easy to roll up and ask for a________ (name a drink). But if you're willing to trust the mixologist he hands you a gift in a glass! Pay attention to the ice! There's so much going on- pellets, crushed, rectangular blocks, and more! We found the host (candle guy), mixologist, and ice man were personable! They each took time to talk to us, tell us a bit about them, and learn a bit about us! We appreciate the recommendation from our kids! Can't wait to come back!

I mean you can't go wrong with the drinks here. I can't even begin to give you the names due to the concept of this place, but just know you won't be disappointed. I will say know your go to liquor and flavors. They'll whip up a nice concoction just for YOU. Service is always great and the bartenders never miss. The vibe is chill and just right for date night.

The ONLY REASON I gave 3 stars is due to them..... NOT SERVING VODKA. NO. VODKA..... in the bar.That's all I drink. With that being said.... The bar tender let me have my shocked and disgusted moment... and suggested gin.I reluctantly said ok to a drink made with gin.HOLY COW! THAT DEINK WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING- whipped egg white, lemon and some more stuff I forgot.There is no menu here, tell the stafff what alcohol and what flavorNotes and they make a drink for you. TOP DRINKS OF MY LIFE. Small, cozy, vibes are funky. Great date night. Cute, cute , cute

Attaboy is a hidden gem with incredible cocktails and a cozy, intimate ambiance. The bartenders are super friendly, making the experience even better. Every drink we tried was spot-on, crafted to perfection. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates great cocktails and good vibes!

Coolest hole in the wall that I never anticipated stumbling into, but I'm oh so grateful I did! Shoutout to the folks at Crema that listed this as one of their favorite bars. The moody lighting, limited seating, and intimate design aesthetic makes it feel like a speakeasy.The bartender we worked with was incredible and nailed my perfect beverage with their "crimes of passion"!

Came here after having dinner in the area and absolutely fell in love with Attaboy! I am not from Nashville and was in town visiting and was so excited to find this place! It's a speakeasy- at the front door you ring the bell and someone will come to let you in. Once inside the space is very cool. Darkly lit (but not too dark!) with a sort of, 1960s/70s southwestern vibe. There is no cocktail menu here and the bartenders will ask for what you would like to drink and then they make it for you! I ordered a classic martini and the bartender also made me a twist on a French 75. The cocktails were amazing. I still think about this place a lot and wish I had it back home. I will just have to return again!

Attaboy is a classy as all get out "speakeasy" cocktail back in Nashville and nyc. The Nashville location isn't large but is definitely bigger than their nyc location. The cocktails are bartenders whim based on a vibe or prompt you give. Tell them a spirit and a flavor profile or vibe. Or just ask for a classic cocktail. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. Camera will see you outside, or just give a gentle knock. They'll come grab your name and seat you when they can. An absolute must in Nashville.

When I lived in NYC, I had always heard great things about Attaboy, but had never gotten the chance to go. I was so excited to find one in Nashville! It is such a fun experience - a long wait to get in, but worth it. The cocktail they gave me was one of the best I'd had - I told them I liked bourbon and smores. I would come back!

Had an incredible time here. Like most people have mentioned, it's a speakeasy and it's super small. On a Friday night around 8pm, we had an hour wait, but they take your phone number so you can leave and come back.All 4 people in my group told our waiter what we liked and they brought out our first round drinks and everyone loved them. Everyone ordered a second drink which was different than the first and enjoyed those as well. The drinks were $18 a piece. Overall, this is a super unique experience and I'd recommend it if you're adventurous when it comes to drinking.
