We got the remolachas (beets, endive, lemon, dill labneh, bleu de basques, shaved walnuts), the tuna tataki (flash seared yellowfin tuna, guindilla peppers, shaved celery, lemon), the calamari (sauteéd rhode island squid, black pepper, scallions, lemon) and the pulpo (galician octopus, piquillo peppers, white asparagus salad, mint, salsa negra) and they were all outstanding. The service was attentive but not overbearing or rushed and the entire staff was amiable and accommodating. It was a great space (we could hear each other talk without) and the energy was infectious and upbeat.Highly recommend!

Although none of the dishes blew me away flavor-wise, this is solid place for seafood tapas in the South End.We went with a large group, so got to try several small plates on the menu. Main thoughts on the food are:- Calamari and patatas bravas were the standouts. Would definitely recommend.- Both the clams and mussels appeared to made with a similar sauce, so could have just gotten one or the other without missing out on much. Also, the sauces had a noticeably butter-y taste.- Meatballs were small, tough, and so tightly packed that none of the sauce could permeate inside. Would skip.- Hamachi and salmon crudo were both fresh and well-presented, but had similar citrus flavors so again could have just gotten one or the other.- Cauliflower was not particularly memorable or unique, would skip.- Mushrooms were tender, but made with vinegar. This take was unique, but I was personally not a fan.Overall, this is a cute place to go with friends. Service, decor, presentation, portion sizes, and food quality were all great. Just didn't have that extra oomph of flavor to make me excited about coming back again.

Nice setting, good service and fresh seafood, but wouldn't recommend it over any similarly priced restaurants in the area. This is one of those places where you spend $100 per person and walk away still hungry. I had the beet salad, the swordfish, the shrimp, and chocolate mousse for dessert. It was all decent, and the presentation was nice, but nothing really blew me away. The swordfish had some heat, which I didn't love. I also had the cauliflower, which was okay, but seemed under cooked.

Lovely interior space, friendly service, and delicious tapas! Especially enjoyed the beet salad. The pulpo was slightly overcooked, but otherwise our meal was fantastic.

Flavors - 4.5/5Textures - 4/5Presentation - 4.5/5Value for Money - 4/5Would return? YesMust-try: cevicheExplored this Spanish seafood haven, and the experience was a seafood dream. The ceviche was mind-blowing, a symphony of freshness and distinctive flavors that left a lasting impression. The cod was perfectly cooked and had a fantastic composition of flavors. The paella garnered unanimous praise, captivating the entire table.A notable highlight was the broccoli salad--an exquisite medley of tanginess, crunchiness, with a romesco sauce at the base that added a delightful depth of flavor. A dish worth replicating. However, the lamb failed to meet expectations, displaying an unfortunate dryness and lack of flavor. It appears that the true culinary prowess of this establishment lies in its seafood offerings.

This was a really nice place to get a glass (well 2) of wine after work!We split the bruschetta- I don't always enjoy bruschetta these days as I'm picky but this was good and very flavorful! My first glass:Cava mercat sparking - definitely crisp. A little drier than expected. Not as sweet as I usually like but this was good. Second glass: Txakolina gaintza- chose it because "light effervescence" was very interesting to me. I liked this. My normal teeth shattering sweet wine preference buds weren't disappointed by this also not so sweet wine. I'll drink anything but sauv blanc. Come at me. My friend enjoyed the Chardonnay. Will come back for more wine and tapas.

The restaurant serves with tapas style and has great cocktails. We went on a weekday during restaurant week although we opted out of doing the restaurant menu because the actual dinner menu had so many great options. The restaurant was not busy and weight. Staff was very attentive you have to get the octopus, probably some of the best octopus I've had.

There's no shortage of tapas restaurants in Boston and unfortunately Atlantico didn't really stand out. I will say the ambiance and decor was beautiful. However, the food didn't really wow me and for the prices they have, you really should be wowed ($200 for 2 ppl and I didn't leave very full). Octopus was delicious and well prepared. The salmon crudo was a tad too acidic. The fish croquettes were pretty bland which was disappointing. Service was great, as were our drinks, so I'd def recommend for drinks!

Food - Neatly organized menu with raw, small plates, and large plates with lots of options especially for the seafood lovers. We tried the salmon trudo and trucha. Both were wonderfully presented and delicious! Drinks- Lots of cocktail options to choose from. Mostly gin, whiskey, and tequila based. Totally recommend 'cheap ticket to rio' if you're into absinthe. Decent wine list for food pairings.Service- Very friendly, courteous, and polite staff. Ambiance- Lovely ambiance with dim lights and minimalistic but elegant design theme. Perfect for date night!

It's been almost six months since we moved out of Boston and my husband and I miss Atlantico so much. I dream about the sardine toast and house vermouth, and have yet to find a better ceviche. We crave their perfectly crisp-on-the-outside-fluffy-on-the-inside patatas bravas and juicy scallops. Compared to other tapas restaurants in the neighborhood the value is unmatched - portions are great and prices reasonable. Not to mention, they have a fun and interesting wine list and a stand out cocktail program (do not sleep on the Atlantico martini). But what makes Atlantico so special is its people. The service is always warm and thanks to Walter, Melissa, and Bridget we marked so many important life moments - big and small- nestled at the corner of Atlantico's gorgeous bar. 15/10 would recommend.
