Atkins Park Restaurant

Atkins park is a neighborhood classic! They serve up delicious, pub food. The service and drinks are always on par. Everything is priced well. The smoked turkey was PHENOMENAL - some of the best I have had. I also love their thick-cut sweet potato fries. We love to sit at the bar and watch football on the TVs. They have a great patio and dart boards as well!

I ended up trying this place because it's located next to my where I get my waxing service. I ordered the deviled eggs for a starters and for my entree I ordered the salmon blt with sweet potato fries. The food was GREAT however, it took a few servers walking paste me in order for someone to approach me. I wasnt greeted upon entry and I had to say "excuse me" twice to in order to get the attention of a server that b-lined passed me. I did not get the name of my server that eventually greeted me once I sat down but he was great! My food came out in a timely manner and every-time he came to check in on me he had a bright smile on his face. It's a great place to visit while in the area but the parking is not so great. Hopefully you can luck up and catch good street parking when you decide to visit.

I will say this is a great spot for gathering with a group of friends and grabbing some beers with no huge frills. The servers are quick and attentive. We enjoyed the duck fat wings and they have solid fries to pair with it.

Food was very tasty. Service for dinner was a bit spotty but they recognized that and made it up for it. I really appreciated the overall friendliness of the place.

Dropped in on a random night and glad we did. It's a dive bar with great food! The bartender was nice and fast we moved to a table and our server was great as well! The food was good.

Decent bar to grab food and drink! Came to this location because they had outside seating and it was nice outside. Our waiter was new but very kind and attentive. The best dish out of what we ordered was the smash burger! Sooo tasty and flavorful. We also had the Duck Confit Wings (not pictured), Salmon BLT and Fried Brussel Sprouts. Very nice bar food. By the time we left the bar itself was pretty lit with lots of chatter and good energy. I would go back for the brunch they have on Saturday and Sundays. The manager also came by to check us on with a nice smile and encouraged us to come back again!

I am here in Atlanta this week for work. When coming to a new city I like to try out and visit all the historic places. This was my first stop! I entered the restaurant half of the building and had a French 75 and the trout. Super impressed. It was delicious. Especially for the price! The waiter was kind and answered my questions even about the area and not the establishment. My only critique is that I think they should embrace the history more. The bar portion is very divey and less authentic than expected.

Atkins Park is a VaHi gem. From the attractive brick and wood decor of a historic building to the gracious service to the skilled chef, AP delivered one of the best meals I've had in Atlanta in some time. The surprise was that I ordered on the cheaper side. Overall, prices are reasonable here for the quality. But when one dines on Brussels sprouts and sliders, they don't expect such skill. Brussels that are "done" yet tender, sitting on a bed of horseradish cream? Yes, thank you. Short rib sliders with an onion jam? May I have another?!Paired with Sweetwater's Georgia Brown. Delectable! These are top shelf dishes with fresh, quality ingredients. Can't wait to try more of them. Atkins Park is my new "go to"!

if i could make it zero stars, i would!!! the bartenders here are the worst!!! they serve you warm beer and then butch at you for asking for a cold beer. if you go....be prepared for a long line of waiting and shitty service
