Great meal! Loved the meats and the service was great! We'd be glad to go here again next time we are in Atlanta.

The location is great and the service was fantastic! Head's up - the prices are a little high, but definitely worth it! If you like Italian, this is the place to go - it was wonderful for a date night while I was visiting Atlanta earlier this year. The Risotto Cheese Fritters were so flavorful and tasty - and almost split the Burrata Caprice but decided we wanted to fill ourselves up with the entrees.I ordered the Sweet Potato Gnocchi - in a gorgonzola cream sauce with sausage and veggies. My date had the Seared Salmon and he said it light and flavorful!

Ate at the bar, very quick service ordering drinks and food. We had meatball and shrimp appetizers. We received a bread serving with tomato sauce that was very good. The food came quickly enough. The house was full by 7 pm. It is decorated in old Italian motifs. Very friendly bartender.

Friday night, 7 pm and the dinning room is empty. Overall, the food was okay, not extraordinary. The steakhouse bolognese left a lot to be desired. It was bland, under seasoned, needed salt; it tasted like Italian hamburger helper. The lasagna was okay, the antipasto wasn't that exciting. Everything overall was rather underwhelming. The service was friendly, but slow.

In Atlanta for a conference. Staying in mid-town at the Crowne Plazza ( review pending). Wanted Italian close to the hotel and selected the Atalian. We started with what we thought would be the shrimp fra diavolo, but they also brought the roasted egg plat bruschetta. We kept both, and they were very good. The shrimp was slightly spicy. The grilled toast it was served on was totally soaked with the sauce and in no way resembled toast. It would have been fine served without the bread. We enjoyed both.I had the fish special, but I don't recall the name of the fish. It reminded me of dover sole but not as delicate. It was served with artichoke hearts, capers, and roasted tomatos. It was a mild fish and just slightly overcooke but enjoyable. My wife had the ossco buco, and she thoroughly enjoyed it. I took a taste, and it reminded me of pot roast. The gravey it was in was very tasty. For desert, we shared the apple cobbler. It was different. Reminded me of bread pudding and was covered in pecans. I enjoyed it more than my wife. The service was ok. The bar is great. The venue decor is confused. The noise grew louder as the occupancy increased. It was quite at 7:15, but noisy an hour later. The prices are reasonable. Overall, we enjoyed dinner and the experience.

I visited Atalian for dinner this past weekend and let me just say, I'll be back! Ambiance was beautiful, nice spot--definitely has a very cute authenticy Italian restaurant feel. Great for a romantic dinner, birthday dinner, girls night out, etc. The service was great. Loved our server, he was also bartending and prepared some amazing drinks for us! For starters we had the Caesar salad, the Burrata Caprice, Sautéed Wild Mushrooms and the Sicilian Style Meatballs. Unfortunately I didn't get pictures because we devoured everything! Lol but the meatballs were delicious, made in house and comprised of 3 or 4 types of meats. Delish!!! For entrees, we had Shrimp Scampi and Lasagna. Both were great but the lasagna was truly one of the best I've had in a long time! So good! I would definitely recommend if you like Italian and will definitely be back!

This place has great food. It's expensive but you get decent sized portions. We have a bit of a struggle with service, waiting 20 minutes for a glass of wine and being served a dirty wine glass - which lead to more waiting for help and a clean drink. The restaurant atmosphere is very classy, with pretty lighting and clean bathrooms. I don't know if we will be returning, it was a nice experience but not worth the value.

Yusuf was our server and he was fantastic. Very attentive and kind. We ordered a bottle of wine, got the risotto cheese appetizer, and split the chicken pesto and shrimp scampi pasta dishes. The appetizer had great flavor- if you're more than a pair, I'd recommend getting more than one- there were 2 pieces. The pesto pasta had great flavor, as did the scampi (more Alfredo-ish to me) but the pesto was the winner of the two in my opinion. We were also given bread, but the pasta was the real winner. It's an upstairs spot, but they did have an elevator. Smallish area, with a classy vibe. I'd definitely go back for more.

This is the second time I have eaten here and been disappointed. The environment is nice and this visit the service was exceptional. The food is disappointing. The appetizer was very good, an eggplant bruschetta. The lasagna however was disappointing. It had a weird flavor. The cheese had an odd taste and the red sauce was bland. Since I didn't finish my dinner I thought I would splurge on dessert. The crème brûlée lacked any taste. The menu of Italian choices was very limited. Not many more than five choices over all. Too expensive for so little.
