I'm not really sure how to rate this store... it's an odd little store! But then again, I haven't visited many Asian markets so I suppose my rating might not count! I'm giving it three stars because I have nothing to compare it too and who knows, it could be a five star store and I just don't know it! Oh, but then again it could be a two star joint...Here's how my visit went! Customer service isn't really there, you just walk in and get what you want, pay and leave. Nobody's ever talked to me, even when they ring up the sale they've never said a word other than the total. I asked for something one time (Masago) but she couldn't understand me so we just kind of looked at each other and silently agreed they didn't have it! Today I asked for unagi sauce and she understood unagi so we were on a roll! She yelled at somebody in the back and they pointed where it was, still not exchanging any words with me though. Oh, I also found the Masago on todays visit so at least now I know where to find it. Maybe it's the language barrier, maybe it's a white girl in an Asian market... The prices are great, way lower than the major supermarkets for a lot of the basics like soy sauce, fish sauce, other condiments and noodles. The vegetable selection varies widely from visit to visit but what they have is fresh and again, way lower than supermarkets. I usually shop here first to see what they have on my list then pick up everything else at the grocery store. The selection is odd and not always the same. One time they have something, the next time they won't have that same brand but something else will be in it's place. There are also a lot of what I would consider American products (Cheez Whiz and Spam for instance) in weird containers with different labels! Now see, that might be something standard in an Asian market and I just don't know! All in all, it's a nice little market with great prices and many odd items you can't find in the grocery store. I got some broiled Unagi today - try getting that at Safeway!

This is the first asian grocery that we went too after moving from CA. Yes, it was kinda shocking to find a small asian grocery store after being used to regular supermarket-size asian groceries but beggars can't be choosers. I'm no longer in CA. This store, just like ALL other asian groceries in Bremerton/Silverdale areas are Filipino markets so what you get are basically Filipino stuff. Im glad I stocked up on many items before we moved here! But this store carries frozen seafood and the price is rather 'acceptable'. It's not cheap but it's not too expensive that you want to totally omit seafood from your diet. (Well, .. maybe if you have a big family that loves seafood!) They also have some asian veggies and they are reasonably priced. We also did our 'asian groceries round' to all the shops around Bremerton. This is by far no.1 on my list for convenience. if you're looking for Milo, go to Linda's Oriental Imports on 6th st.

Prices are absolutely way too high, great selection, although when I go here I feel like I'm at Uwjaimayas in Seattle! There is a new Asian market in Ross Plaza down the road, much better prices and friendly staff. Neither store carry cheese pandesal I can't seem to find that around here anymore.

I don't know what it is, but the couple times I've been in no one has ever spoke to me. Even after I've said Hi, or thank you, or whatever is common courtesy. The customer service sucks. They go out of their way to ignore you/me...Kinda new to the area but after finding Central Market and combo-ing it with Amazon I won't be back here. They didn't offer anything selection wise I'll miss. Too bad, wish it could be better having one close to stock up on basics (like shoyu, mirin, tocino, etc).

Love this place. They always have what I'm looking for especially when I get a hunger for lumpia and need to get my sinigang packets. I think the staff changed since they moved into the bigger store they don't seem as friendly but regardless they are nice and have a great selection.

I agree with the previous review that this and every other asian market in the bremerton/silverdale area mainly carries nothing but ingredients for Filipino dishes. I have to travel to Tacoma to get the things that I need to stock up.If you're looking for things that you can substitute the good stuff with, this may be a good store for you. The three stars is for the prices.

This gem of a market is tucked away in a small shopping center close to the mall. It's tiny but packed full of all your favorite Asian treats and staples. We found the prices to be excellent, found our favorite mochi there, and so many instant ramens to choose from, my husband was in heaven! The produce there is top notch and they even have a military discount on certain days of the week! I look forward to going back here for all of my Asian cooking needs!

Somhow I managed to never know that this place was here. I asked how long it had been here, and I was told since 1995! I was surprised at how big it was and how much stuff they had. I asked the clerk if they had plum sauce, since I couldn't find it among their abundant sauces, and he took me right to it. They have every kind of noodles I could ever want, and lots of different cold drinks. This is definitely going to be a regular stop for me when I'm in Silverdale.

Just recently moved to area from Southern California, Staff were supper friendly and helpful. Prices we moderate for the area and the also has some of the harder to find Asian products.

Well it's your typical mom and pops store. It has all the ingredients mom uses and food and drinks you grew up with! The prices are not to expensive however, it costs money to ship that Black Tea you love to drink. I wish things were cheaper but it's close by and Filipino owned! They have almost everything you need to cook your favorite dish just like mom use to make. I forgot to also mention not just Filipino food they also have Korean, Japanese, Thailand, Chinese products. If they don't have the product your looking for. Just ask one of the ladies at the front if they can order it. Hope that helped!!! PEACE,LOVE AND ADOBO GREASE!
