My go to Asian market on the Eastside! Suggest you avoid shopping here on the weekends, it is so crowded, and check out lines are long. Weekends are so busy that if you shop later in the day, fresh vegetables can be slim pickings. Also finding a parking spot can also be challenging. Came tonight (Monday) and the veggies were well stocked and parking was easy.

I was going to go to a nearby market after I eat lunch. This market conveniently happened to be in the same plaza where I ate lunch at. Parking was the absolute worst. Inside was just as crowded! I was happy to find what I needed, but that tea was expensive compared where I buy back at home. It was interesting how they have such a big selection of mooncakes, fruits, and etc.

Outstanding selection of Asian foods, cookware, and produce. Very helpful staff! Wish it was closer to Sammamish! If you can't find it at this market, you don't need it!

To the folks complaining about the "cashier's friendliness or this place is a dump." You guys sound like a bunch of entitled Bellevue folks. (Leave your bubble once in a while.) this is NOT Whole Foods or PCC, I'm not here to make friends with the cashiers or be waited on hand and foot. It's a Asian grocery store, get what you need and go home. This place is GREAT! it has EVERYTHING I need and then some! I'm always able to find the items I'm unable to at the "American" grocery stores. No complaints for me, 5 stars all the way thru, don't listen to those "entitled" folks.

Parking lot and line is a nightmare if you go during peak hours, I figured out a strategy to just go on weekdays or late nights to avoid crowds. I'm very grateful there's so many options for Asian grocery stores here in Bellevue, Asian Family Market is located more in the Bellevue Redmond area. It usually has on choy that I can't find at Hmart or Uwajimaya. What also stands out to me is the variety of vegan mock meats at the frozen section. There's a food court within this market also where it consists of a boba shop and few food spots. Tell me about your experience if you've been here or is going to after reading this review:)

Don't come here unless you want to stand transfixed perusing the largest selection of noodles, won ton, pot stickers, and dumplings you will see in your entire life. It took me 1/2 an hour to pick out a package of pot stickers. They had every rare and odd ingredient for all of the Thai and Korean dishes I have tried cooking recently. Ever since COVID I have gone from one kind of soy sauce in my pantry to 25 and still growing. The produce area is crowded but they had a ton of vegetables I did not even recognize. The little dishware area is probably what is crowding the produce, but I admit I spent several minutes browsing all the lovely Asian serving dishes. The fresh fish and meat area in the back is the best I have seen at a grocery store. (Except maybe the Central Market?)

I am not sure why I like this Asian Food Center so much. Is it the décor? Is it the parking lot? Is it the crowd? No, not really. It is because they serve ready to-go food items! It is not your typical desserts and/or sandwiches; THEY HAVE DUCK TONGUE AND PIG EAR! Yes, you read that right. Not something you would think to buy as a snack, huh? I think they have ready to-go gizzards, chicken / duck feet too. Yes, all of your exotic parts that would you only find in a restaurant or a specialty shop. Nope, they have it all right here at the end cap of the aisle, near the registers. My Mom loves pig ear (they have spicy and non-spicy). My mom normally cannot stand super spicy, but she tolerate this well; she said enough spicy to give flavor, but not burning hot. It is also sliced to perfection; not too thin nor super thick. I do not know what time they bring this product out, but it looks like they replenish it when it is low. Customers would stand around and wait for it to be stock. I am not sure if they are on a restocking schedule. I just grabbed and go, to avoid holding up the line. A fun little thing to have in the car when road tripping. They are nicely packaged in a clear container and the price is per container. Pricing varies depending on items. This is a must stop for us when we come up to Seattle. Good little souvenir for Mom. The store itself is pretty big, with all your Asian groceries. AFC shares a parking lot with another establishment. Parking spaces are a bit tight though. Careful maneuvering in/out of your spot! They take cash or card.

Asian Family Market is not my go-to daily grocery store, but it is my favorite. They have the cheapest peeled garlic around. You can buy dragonfruit, every kind of mushroom, and a bajillion other cool fruits and vegetables in their produce section. AFM is where you go to buy every single instant ramen ever made. Where you can buy light and dark soy sauces, only two aisles over from the cucumber Lays and the Hi-Chews in every flavor. What a great place.

The produce department offers a huge variety of Asian vegetables & fruit at a reasonable price, as well as standard American produce. The manager keeps the bins continuously stocked, refrigerated w/o watering constantly to raise the weight/price. Stockers are always willing to get more stock if asked. My only negative is it's difficult to navigate through the crowded aisles. Checking out is fairly fast, efficient. Yea!!If anything, have a parking lot attendant to guide drivers Will definitely be required when the new dim sum restaurant opens. PLAN ABEAD!!!!When the
