Pre ordered a large sheet birthday cake & also beautiful " smash cake " for Grandaughters first big birthday party . This bakery highly recommended. Picked up Sunday am before 10:30 opening . Great service helped load cakes into my car .I was. Able to pick up before opening also a great help . Cake was delicious almost a sponge " type cake filled and topped with fruits and wonderful frosting , highly recommended. N 16th street just north of Bethany home on east side n near dicks hideaway another great local spot . Parking in front in strip" mall .

Cake reminded me of childhood cake not too sweet! We will be ordering here in the near future.

Been here with my family since grade school!In my 30's now and my family and I would still order and pick up cakes for my kids birthday parties and special occasions! Definitely recommend them!

The cakes are made with a light, airy & fluffy sponge cake with fresh fruit and whipped cream, not too sweet but delicious!I have bought cakes from this place many times and I will continue to get my cakes here, even though they are located in the opposite side of the city from where I live.Their cakes are always fresh & delicious and they have great service!

The cake was ok. Not impress. They don't have much to choose from when I went there. The fruit in the cake was not fresh at all.

They are still open during the pandemic, which I really appreciate. Their taro cake is very good. The cream is fluffy and mildly sweet. The taro cream inside is fresh and made of real taro. I like Asian cake because they are not overly sweet like American ones. I hope their business will survive through this pandemic. Many small local bakeries have closed permanently already.

Not a Japanese bakery, but a cake shop. I'm sure their cakes are fine, and yes you can find one or two pastries that are done in a Japanese style. But they need to change the name and the category because a Japanese bakery it is not.

This bakery is the wrost. Buyer beware. I purchased 10 sponge cakes. They were obviously pre frozen. When I cut into them. All of them were full of mold. Can you imagine if I hadn't cut them?

I ordered a chocolate cake for my birthday and I was surprised to find that it's the least chocolatey chocolate cake I've ever encountered. The frosting wasn't frosting it was more like lightly chocolate flavored lard and the cake itself was like air. It was the opposite of rich. Very little flavor or sweetness. Very strange cake. The bakery had been there looking like forever so I hope it's cleaner than it looks? I don't know I went and bought a $20 delicious cake at the grocery store. The lady was really nice though

Some of the best cakes in AZ! They are never too sweet and I really enjoy the cream which isn't super sweet like traditional cake icing. More of a butter cream. Always my go to!
