Asadero Toro

We live right down the street from this place and we decided to give it a try. Everything we ordered was definitely delicious. We ordered a carne asada burrito and quesadilla (could do without the rice and beans), chicken tacos which we could also do without because the asada itself was too good. It's right across the state fair so if you are there, might as well swing by and check it out because it's worth it and they have a drive thru!

I'm not sure how this place has stayed in business so long. The food is mediocre. The staff is slow. I've gone here twice hoping the second time would be a better experience but sadly it was not. It's in a stand alone location right across from the state fair grounds. The place looks abandoned most of the time and very little customers inside. I don't recommend this place. I have definitely had better Mexican fast food at Filiberto's.

Let me say we came here after the fair and the cashier was a B!! Horrible service! Never coming here again!

This will always be my favorite mexican restaurant! Best place for tripas tacos in my opinion!

We have only ordered through the drive thru but it's always been delicious. Their Lorenzas, burritos, tacos, caldos are so good. Their tortillas de harina are thick and flavorful. Their tripa is just the way our family likes it! They always give you a good portion of veggies when your going thru the drive thru so there's no need for us to get off. I recommend this whole in the wall!

This was sorely disappointing. I ordered the barbacoa combination. It comes with "beans," "rice," and "meat." I put those items in quotations, because they were so watery I could hardly identify what they were. My husband commented on how watery and goopy everything was, too. I've never had Mexican food so soggy. Only thing that was good was the tortillas. Hardly worth $12 - are you serious with that price? Can't win em all.

By far the best Pollo tacos in the entire state. Perfectly seasoned grilled and the servings are huge. You can easily make 6 or 7 tacos from 4. Staff is friendly and orders are always accurate.

4.5 Stars! Three words; Flavor, Value, Service and Charm. Ok, 4 words. Great little gem. The service was very friendly and prompt. Very welcoming. But your reading this for the food. Ordered the asada combination. Comes with some of the best handmade tortillas. I chose flour and I was not disappointed. Good chew and very hot!. Creamy refried pintos and rice. Kicker was the side roasted Mexican Pickle (jalapeño) and roasted onion wedge. The asada was tender,beautifully char grilled with loads of flavor and juicy. $9.99 is a value and I hope they keep that for as long as they can and hold their head high. If your in the area or 15 min away, you must try.

Best Tripas!! Highly recommend the molcajete with carne asada and tripas. The caldo de cabeza is delicious. The tacos are great choices also If you want something small. The plates are shareable.

Yelp gave me a notification to review this place while I was eating there, it said they needed more pictures of dishes... unfortunately I ate my food far too fast for pictures. Great little spot, super friendly staff, good food.
