This was easily the fanciest dining experience I've ever had.The food was incredibly delicious - each bite was unique and flavorful. The wait staff were kind and professional - attentive and professional. Explaining what we were about to enjoy and where it was sourced. The restaurant itself was clean and upscale.Absolutely beautiful experience - I can't wait to go back.

- Great ambiance, but I prefer omakase restaurants -We picked this place for our annual valentine's day dinner, and came earlier than the reservation time as required by the restaurant. However, they were still prepping when we arrived and we were told to wait. Then another couple came in and they sat them down, which was odd. I felt a bit uncomfortable there, but didn't say anything. Then they sat us at the counter, which was fine except I'm usually not a fan of high chairs. The waiter was fine, but he spent less time with us as we didn't order wine pairing like other couples did. The place was still quite empty 30 minutes after dining, I guess they spaced out the reservation time like that. The Valentine's dinner was more pricy ($195/person). It comes with amuse bouche, albacore tuna crudo, scallop & prawn tortellini, duck confit "karaage", pure country beef ribeye, and a dark chocolate dipper chocolate semifreddo (See attached pix for full ingredient list). They had two upgrade options: wagyu and caviar. We didn't, but the couple next to us got the cavar. It was like a tablespoon for $55... I've had it and it's not really my cup of tea, plus it's pricy. The Dungeness crab fried rice was crispy and delicious, but the citrus salad was a little bit too sour for my liking since there's kumquat (a small citrus fruit). I generally enjoy sour dishes, so I can tell it's too sour for my husband. As expected, he doesn't like this one and I ended up eating some of his. The scallop & prawn tortellini is basically a huge ravioli LOL! It's cute, but I don't remember its taste now. The fried duck was great, but again the sauce on the side was too sour. My ribeye was fine, and there is a very slight difference between my husband's wagyu and mine. His is slightly more fatty, which I'm not sure if it justifies the upgrade price. The dessert was my favorite, but again it was on the sour side since there's a cherry-ginger sorbet. They gave us a cookie and a chocolate upon leaving for us to enjoy at home.I enjoyed my time here, but I think they paid more attention to the guests who ordered wine pairing. I believe the waiter did come over to refill my husband's water maybe twice. I asked for hot water, but they didn't even bother offering a piece of lemon, which was very cheap of them (since they have tons of citrus fruit in the kitchen, obviously).I believe it was around $538 or so after tax for us, which was around the price we pay for omakase courses in sushi restaurants. I think I still prefer those since we are a huge fan of sashimi, plus it's more filling. Most of the guys I know don't really enjoy the sour taste too much, so I can't imagine guys enjoying these dishes. I'd say my experience was quite neutral, though I don't think I'd come back again given the CP value was quite low in my opinion.

The only reason I gave 2 stars is the food taste for the amount of money they charged. I felt I had way better food for less price. I was surprised that it is possible for me to not at all like the desserts. It's likely only a personal experience and not a comment on the chefs, but that's what I genuinely felt.Service was good. Ambiance was okay.

Service was lovely and attentive. Really loved how attentive they were and welcoming.Unfortunately, some of the dishes were way too salty and underwhelming. The entree was a pork belly but it was 90% fat and very little meat. Cute restaurant, nice experience to sit at the bar and watch the magic happen. Just wasn't our favorite meal.

We chose Art of the Table for our anniversary dinner and enjoyed the food and experience! The menu was six courses plus an amuse bouche to start. Each course was very well executed and tasted great. The courses were small, but by the end of the full meal we were both satisfied with the total amount of food; we were full yet not overly full which was great. Our waiter was very nice and greeted us with glasses of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. We greatly appreciated this gift. There are a couple of points that moved this review from a 5 star to 4 star for me:- The style of the restaurant and food concept didn't seem to match in my opinion. The restaurant is fairly bright with large windows that look out to the street. This seemed misaligned with the fine dining concept. And there was a pantry or market area that was visible but closed off which made the restaurant feel like there was a lot dead space. - The menu seemed to be caught in the middle where it is neither avant-garde nor traditional. There were farm to table concepts and also some gels and powders that were leaning more towards innovative food, but the menu wasn't very cohesive. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and are happy to have tried Art of the Table.

Went here for a date night and give it two thumbs up. One of the fine tasting menus in Seattle. I'll be a repeat customer.

The ambiance didn't match the high end chef's tasting menu. It felt more like an upscale cafe vs a fine dining establishment but it was quaint and clean. The service was spectacular, the servers were very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the food. The food was good but not mind blowingly spectacular. I especially loved the scallop shrimp risotto dish with the home made bread and roasted pepper butter and also the Carmel mousse dessert, everything on those plates were 100% perfection and I'd give those two dishes 5 stars. The other dishes I'd give 3-4 stars.

If I can rate this separately, I would give the ambiance a 5, and the service a 4.9. The reason for my mid rating is because of the food. I came here with my sister to celebrate her birthday, and it felt very special and fancy. I really appreciate them for calling in advance to ask if we had any dietary restrictions. I let them know that it was my sister's birthday, and they added a small candle on her desert plate at the end, which was very sweet. We had the chef's tasting menu, and I would have to say I wasn't very impressed by the food combination. I did enjoy their sturgeon, but everything else either felt something was missing or didn't give enough "umph" taste to really make their dish taste spectacular. It was quite pricy too so I did have a higher expectation and was a bit bummed out by the taste. But overall, they helped me make my sister's birthday night special, so I don't regret going.

First I felt every dollar was worth at a $$$$ restaurant! There were seven courses, and I enjoyed every single one. Beautiful dishes and each had something that made it memorable. Servers were very professional. Price wise It came out to $196 per person (tasting menu, tax, 20% default tip, plus a drink)Also, unlike other restaurants that require advanced booking we literally called them 15 min before heading there and they were ok with it!! If you wanted to last minute splurge then this is a great place.

The service and food were excellent. Got stuck in backed up traffic and was running late, after calling to notify of our late arrival, the staff were understanding and adjusted our seating accordingly. Had the tasting menu and it was incredible; each ingredient paired so well with each other. Appreciated the optional upgrades but they are not required. Highly recommend for special dinners and celebrations. Will be coming back for another wonderful dining experience.
