Took my daughter and her boyfriend to dinner. Pro: Excellent food, excellent service. Medium: Yes, as some have mentioned, the decor is a little dated, but I really couldn't care less. Pro: With service and food this good, I don't care if the "ambiance" isn't great.Con: Prices are not cheap. I honestly feel it's more of a $$$$ than a $$$ restaurant. But all restaurants are expensive these days, so I think they're just keeping up with the competition.

Nope. There were flies in the lobby, when we first walked in. Not a good sign. When we sat down, it smelled funny and the decor was from ages ago. I have been to Arnies over the years and it used to feel nice but it hasn't updated at all and really needs to. The food is ok but nothing to write home about.

I can't believe how bad this place was! We were going to go to Rory's, but they were packed so we came here. I haven't been here in probably 10 years. Maybe a little more recently, but I don't remember it being this awful. We got drinks, which were good, and our waitress was nice. But after our appetizer of the crab dip, it was so bad that I lost my appetite. My boyfriend tried to get a pasta dish, I think it was some sort of seafood Alfredo. It was awful and I can't believe he even took more than a couple bites. However, he will eat something even if it's bad when he's hungry enough. Still couldn't finish it though. He said his side Caesar wasn't that bad, a little too fishy. Definitely won't be returning, especially for the price.

Stopped to see a friend in Edmonds who grew up there and we stopped at Arnies for a late lunch and to sit by the waterfront. The views are magnificent and so amazing to us on our first ever visit to Edmonds. Decor is a bit dated but tYou're mostly looking out the window at the Puget Sound and the mountains. The ferry comes over every so often as well. The bar looks fun and they likely have a good happy hour. I had the small seafood salad which had a tasty grilled salmon with lemon zest on top, plenty of crab, bay shrimp and pickled asparagus. Dressing was great. Others had fish and chips, seafood bisque, and the smoked salmon sandwich. The service was fine but could have been a bit more attentive considering the restaurant was essentially empty at 2:30 pm. Great spot for enjoying the scenery.

Great location, right on the water. Most tables have a water view. The restaurant itself feels clean, but dated - the furniture was bought at the height of nineties style and then never revisited - lots of light tan wood. Service was prompt, helpful and friendly. Bread service happened right away and we never found ourselves without water or waiting in between meals. The food was probably 3.5 stars. I had the cod and chips which were crispy with a lot of cod - and there was a ton of fries. My mom had the mixed grill - she said the scallops and shrimp were great but the salmon was a bit over cooked. I also had chocolate cake for dessert - well, I had it for four desserts as I had to take it home - it was huge! Lots of layers, great balance of icing and cake.

I met some friends for dinner at their favorite restaurant in Edmonds. They have been coming here for 15ish years and me many of the staff by name and their families. Soo, a great testament to begin.I found the food tasty, and the menu prices reasonable. The staff was very personable and attentive. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful harbor view. My only nitpick is the 4% charge on the menu prices. Why not just raise the prices? If you are coming here for a meal, the food, service and view are the real motivations, if it was the price, you would be going through a local drive thru.

I've been to Arnie's many times over the years. In fact, I used to go to the one by Gasworks Park in Seattle; still miss that one. Glad that the one in Edmonds is still operating and as popular as can be, going by the number of customers that are there every every time I go. My most recent visit was for dinner. Both my husband and I got the prime rib with baked potatoes. The meat was tender and delicious, and you can never go wrong with a baked potato. My husband had clam chowder to start and loved it. I had a Caesar salad, which was delicious (they make their own dressing). By the way, one of my friends always gets their seafood bisque, and she is in pure heaven every single time!We enjoy the ambience, the view of the water and the ferries coming and going. The service was attentive, but not hovering, which is what I like. One note to the management: you need to update your steak knives! Mine worked fairly well, but my husband's was so dull that I ended up loaning him mine. We mentioned it to our server, who acknowledged that it had been mentioned many MANY times. So OK already, Arnie's... Get some new steak knives! Your devoted customers deserve it.

My cousin and I met for a late lunch on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, and was disappointed with the food and service. The $40 salmon was overcooked, the mashed potatoes lumpy and poorly seasoned and the asparagus slightly overdone. To top it off, the waitstaff was surly.
