Armo Grill

What a great experience! From the personable staff to the delicious food, everything about my first visit was top notch. The chicken kabob was perfectly seasoned, and I really liked the potatoes, too. The Jerusalem salad was fresh. I was with two other people, and we each ordered a different appetizer so we could try all three on the menu. Our favorites were the hummus and tabbouleh salad, but the baba ganoush was also great. We were stuffed from the generous portions, but couldn't resist buying a few desserts from the bakery case to bring home. We tried the honey cake, Napoleon and baklava. All three were delicious, but the baklava was my personal favorite. I can't wait to return to try more of the menu. They also offer a weekday lunch special for just $10, which will be a priority soon!

We happened upon this place after doing mini golf in the area and noticed it along Milwaukee Avenue. We're always up for trying a new restaurant. At Armo Grill, it's fast casual style, where you order at the counter, pay, get a number, and food is brought out to you. The outline of most meals is that you get to choose your protein, type of rice, salad, and spread, as well as get a pita. The pitas here are thin and a bit dry. As leftovers, they don't hold up too well. I was in a steak-mushroom pilaf-house salad-baba ghanouj mood, and it was a ton of food for about $17. Definitely 2+ servings. The rice pilaf was more flavorful than the mushroom pilaf, and the baba was a bit too smoky for my liking. The kids' meal bowls come with a protein (chicken or ground beef), rice, and pita. The young gentleman manning the register diligently checked on all tables throughout our stay. Casual seating environment, with a few tables outside too. Big parking lot. What else? Beer by the bottle is available, and there's a dessert case with baklava and cake slices too.

Great spot! Everything is fantastic - service, food and price, and they even have limited alcohol selection :pNice clean big dining area with a simple menu, makes it easier for someone like me who's so indecisive :)

Relatively new and it's refreshing to be able to choose your sides as opposed to the obligatory rice and salad of other nearby places. I'm impartial to their buckwheat and Jerusalem salad. All the meats we tried were excellent, juicy and nicely flavored. This is a nice spot for lunch or a quick dinner.

So this has been in my raider I saw yesterday they weren't opened and then as I drove by today I saw they were opened. I was so excited so I decided not to cook and it came here and I thought I would get a couple appetizers and a side and then go home and cook, but since it's a new business, I thought I would sit down and eat and hopefully if the food is good, it would encourage other diners to come in. Surprisingly they had a decent amount of traffic. I ordered hummus, baba ghanoush and a mushroom bulgar and the food was excellent brand new clean facility. I'm going to have to come back and order their shish kebabs so excited coming check it out. I think you guys will like it. I really enjoyed it. I think you will too. It looks like they had salads And really tasty spreads they had a dessert area I should've taken a photo but I forgot I was kind of anxious to eat there but I'll have to go back and do some more photography for some reason the photos I took aren't showing up I try to be a good girl and limit my time online and I had to re-open my phone to post this review and come and try it . It was the first day opened so everything tasted excellent very fresh nicely seasoned the baba ghanoush and the hummus are outstanding and I'm sure when I eat that tomorrow it'll just get better .

Armo Grill has taken feedback into consideration since opening and now offers lunch specials Monday through Friday. I highly recommend coming here to try some top notch Armenian food. It is the perfect place to come with coworkers for a healthier lunch. My favorites are the chicken kabob, rice pilaf, hummus, and baba ghanouj, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

We started things off with their lavash chips and lavash bread that accompanied the hummus and the baba ghanouj. The lavash chips were slightly salty and paired nicely with the mild smokiness of the baba ghanouj. Then we tried a variety of combo plates which the first one had bulgur, Jerusalem salad, chicken, steak, and Lula kabob. The amount of food was generous and each protein option wasn't dry. The pork was nicely seasoned, the chicken had a punchy flavor of yellow onion and a bright kick from the red sauce. The extra bread definitely comes in handy when you're building a nicely wrapped bite consisting of the runny garlic sauce, Armenian rice, and some steak. Had a sweetened Armenian coffee which resembled Turkish coffee along with their homemade desserts. The Napoleon had a ton of cream, the baklava was nutty and sweet, the desserts were great and my favorite was the raspberry honey cake which was spongy in texture and subtle floral notes. Great spot overall.

We had a good meal of Mediterranean food. Counter ordering and the servers were most helpful. Their board of specials could be a bit better as it was not clear to me what were the specials.

Had a very good lunch at Armo Grill. Large portion of chicken, rice, Jerusalem salad and hummus with pita was a lunch special for $10.00. I bought a lot home. Chicken was tender and moist. Nice clean space.. We got there around 12:45 ,and one other table was occupied. I hope they can make it!!

Food and service are top notch. I especially enjoyed the clean interior, that is paired well with the amazing presentation of the meals.
