Armando's Pizza & Subs

Great local pizza place that has been here for years! Great pizza and sandwiches...no frills just consistency and quality. Friendly staff!Cash only so be prepared.

Classic neighborhood pizza joint! Haven't tried subs or anything else other than the pizza, but the pizza is the best in the area. Prices are reasonable and they have Sicilian style as well as thin crispy NY style. We haven't had a bad slice or pie from Armando's yet! Clearly a locals spot and cash only (they do have an atm). Service is fast no frills. My wife and I have quickly made Armando's our goto pizza spot.

I stopped into a lot of pizzerias because I work in a lot of different neighborhoods. This spot has some of the best slices around for sure. Don't forget, it's cash only.

The service was excellent and the restaurant is clean and well kept. I ordered a meatball sub and a calzone. The meatball sub was disappointing. It didn't contain much sauce and I asked for extra cheese but got like 2 slices of cheese added on. My son's calzone was massive but lacked in flavor.

Old school scrumptious pizza with great hospitality, this little place is your neighborhood to go pizza joint. Nice big slices in a no frills place, run by the family. Armando's is keeping it real here, just like I like it! Ciao

How this could make anyone's top list for Sicilian pizza is beyond me. I ordered two slices pepperoni and watched him attempt to dress up two cold, congealed slices and pop in the oven.The cheese was gray and the sauce congealed black. I don't even think it's possible to make pizza that day and have it turn into that. One bite and into the trash. Never again.

I've been traumatized trying to get half-decent pizza in Boston. Reviews of pizza here are so untrustworthy that I'm not convinced anyone living around here even knows what pizza is (sorry to be a jerk, but pizza is near and dear!) Armando's does a solid job. The sauce and cheese are great. The crust is lacking a bit, but it's still good. Overall, this is one of the best options in Cambridge, and a port in a storm.

So amazing! These people are the kindest and wow ever! Am a customer for life! Such delicious pizza. I have not stayed to eat but can only imagine how comfy & welcoming it is to eat there.

I was looking forward to great pizza. Unfortunately the crust was hard - crunchy, so over cookedand sauce very limited - almost dry. I would not recommend.

Best pizza ever! Would give it 6 stars if we could. My wife and her family have loved Armando's thin NY-style pie for over 40 years. It's a successful family-owned/run biz that has been around since their grandfather (1st generation Italian) started it in '71.
