Cool chill spot. Lots of locals it seemed liked. Tables sucked and we're wobbly. Bartender gave back tip money cause he can't count. Overall it's cool place though.

This place used to be Moon Tower but has been rebranded or has been sold to a new owner since the other sister bars of MT has now been out of business.Same lay out, no drafts, strong pours and as cheap as you can get at the slums of Fort Worth. :p There were only one bartender with a good amount of patron when we went but the we weren't left with an empty glass/bottle of drinks. The inside looks much cleaner and more inviting than before. Patrons are always friendly and non of those bs "look at me" places. There was a dj which also is doing a karaoke the night we went.

Bartender Dave is a huge jerk, but in the best hometown dive bar kind of way. Going back and forth with him will entertain you. So many improvements have been made since the new owners bought it out. Only downside is no patio, and it's a little small in there so it gets really loud. They do several open mic nights/karaoke every week. Fun place. Cheap drinks. Highly recommend.

This place had a nice little vibe people wise , the bartender never brought the drink I ordered till he had skipped over me several times. Normally in this situation I wouldn't care, but after overlooking me twice at that point I was done . Closed out my tab which was five dollars and some change. I even gave him a five dollar tip. I Looked at my bank statement the next day there was the 5.75 charge plus an additional 41 dollar charge . Had my friend go the next day with my bank statement because I live a distance away, and was told to take it up with my bank. If you go to this place please use cash .

At first upon entering this establishment for the first time I had my doubts due to the fact that we were in West Fort Worth in one of the toughest neighborhoods in Tarrant County. Now I understand why everybody gave me the crazy look when I first came in because it didn't know who I was so it's only reasonable to be skeptical until otherwise. That changed quickly as bartenders greeted me with warm smiles and asked what would you like to drink? I replied give me a bud in a bottle and let me tell you it was ice cold! Honestly I'm pretty hard to get along with some people say pretty difficult some say I'm just a butthead and truthfully I am. But the bartender let me go through whatever phases are we going through ask me if I need another beer very polite gave me a koozie first time there which I liked and I begin talking to these people. I found out that the majority of them are pretty cool now speaking of the customers to you know we have a lot of homeless around this area and believe it or not love these guys out here give when they don't have to know when these guys going to go buy beer cigarettes or whatever and we just go about their way.. Thursdays Fridays Saturdays is karaoke night and these boys got it goin on I mean they light up the Yellow Rose with some kicking music and everybody is having a good time.! I'm from Arlington and I've been to some of the best bars around all the Metroplex from Dallas Grand Prairie the stiff cliff that's Oak Cliff For You Outsiders and I tell you what the Yellow Rose he's one of my favorites. I don't write reviews but I had to give The Yellow Rose its card which means .compliment. From a new customer. Joe or Mexican Joe..
