Ye Ole Butcher Shop

Tucked away in a little out of the way spot, Ye Ole is old school magnificent. Whether you get a regular "cow" burger, or a bison burger, both are outstanding. The French fries are um, well ... addictive. An order of fries is big enough for two people to share, even so, we had some leftover. Yes, we were stuffed.The real star though is the burger. I hate to put it this way, but I do have a big mouth. My friends would likely attest to this. Despite this, it was difficult to get that burger in my mouth, it was so big. Tasty!!! Served on a brioche bun, made fresh for them, these burgers are huge on flavor every bit as much as they are in size. I couldn't quite finish mine, but I did come close.Don't miss out on their fresh fried pies. My wife got cherry,and I got peach. I don't usually like pie crust. These were an exception. I ate every bite. My guess is that they went Uber traditional and used beef tallow in the crust. They have a big selection.One final thing ... get some of their hot links to take home. They are so very good... I need more. And another burger. And another pie.

We have been wanting to try this place for 30 years.Loved our burger, bbq. Sausage, sweet potato tots and potato salad.We went through website to order through Grubhub. Only issue is that one burger on order was missing (paid for two) and wanted both to be well done. The one burger was too pink to be well done.Mistakes happen but just takes a second to read the customer order and count items.Grubhub gave me a credit but felt bad because one person out of three did not get a burger.Will definitely try the rib dinner and pulled pork again.

First time here. I ordered Buffalo Burger and I loved it. If you are meat lover, you should try this place. Jeff, the owner was very nice and funny :)

I really wanted to like this place more than I did. I enjoy locally owned restaurants. The food needed salt. Everything we ordered just needed salt. Fries, onion rings, chicken fried steak and the burger needed salt. There wasn't any. You can add salt to fries and onion rings at the table and get the same impact. Luckily, adding salt to the burger was pretty easy. The sausage on a stick was delicious!

Good solid buffalo burger! I think probably the best burger I've ever had! Great customer service!Called to order for pick up and was ready fast. I need to come back try the ribeye and elk. If you want to have a great meal stop by. Plenty of seating inside and you will be greeted by a buffalo upon entering.

The buffalo burgers and sweet potato fries are great! Service too! Highly recommend!

Stopped in Ye Old butcher shop and picked up some of our favorites for a little gumbo tonight. Elk and jalapeño sausage and for dessert a fried cherry pie. Can't wait for dinner!

These were the best burgers we used to get. Always get the best of all I've tried. Fried pies are just to good! Gonna have to go back soon.

Ordered via Uber Eats. Amazingly my order of onion rings were hot and crispy upon arrival. Of course the hamburger I also ordered was top notch.If you haven't visited this wonderful shop as of yet do yourself a favor and visit asap.
