Whiskey & Rye

The employees make all the difference. Yesterday service of staff was excellent, today lacks the five star experience. The waitress was at best average and didn't check with us. Bartender was less than tactful. I'm amazed how five star yesterday to one star today. Calling a $45 pour of whiskey a shot was just one aspect of the attitude received. The waitress unaware of the menu and drinks didn't help. Feel out the vibe. It's night and day here in my two day experience.

I was walking in downtown Fort Worth, and desperately needed a cool drink and restroom break. I popped into the Omni Hotel to use their Starbucks -- and found this fantastic bar and lounge, Whisky and Rye. Aptly named, their Old Fashioned was superb. The ambiance was purely country, and the music was pure country heaven. How fortunate to have needed a restroom break and find this upscale watering hole with sports on big screens and pool table! My hubby and I came in twice for drinks during our trip. Staff was excellent, too, which makes the experience all the more enjoyable. thank you, Whiskey and Rye. My favorite alcohols.

This bar and eatery is located in the Omni Hotel in Ft. Worth. The drink menu is fine, and the service is decent. The live entertainment was horrible. The guitar soloist shouldn't be allowed to play when he's not a good singer. It is a dark environment with 2 pool tables and fits well if you just want to hang out and socialize with your group.

Stopped by for a quick bite to eat. Just to be clear, this place sneaks in a 20% surcharge to your bill. Thay type of business decision is extremely dishonest.I had the smash burger. They seasoned the fries with a tasty herb mixture. Food portions were generous, the staff was quick and friendly, and the overall ambience was expected for a hotel restaurant/bar. This place would have had 4 stars but I took off 20% for the sneaky surcharge. 4-20%=3.2

Fresh for a soothing massage, I enjoyed this quiet & quaint spot. Bo is awesome and really attentive. I'd definitely recommend it for a refreshment to beat the heat or take a break from the business of the day.

Better than average; not spectacular.Variety of liquors is decent. Drinks are tasty; but not spectacular. I'd stop in again if I'm staying at the Omni.

I am in town for a business trip staying at the Omni hotel. Whiskey and rye is located at the hotel, so the convenience was by far the most appealing factor on where to grab a light bite and cocktail after walking all day touring Fort Worth. The first day I tried the chicken poblano soup, and dr. pepper Al La mode. This was the best, and I didn't get a picture before finishing them off. I would definitely recommend and have it again if I am back here. Second day chips and trio with crème brûlée. The servers were very attentive, and gave great recommendations. Ask for Emily or Brian!

This bar is located inside the Omni Fort Worth Hotel and features two pool tables + plenty of different seating styles. I was staying at the Omni Fort Worth hotel and found this to be a great place to connect with coworkers and friends over a glass of wine, beer, or cocktail. They do also offer food, but I did not order anything off their menu although it does look like a few menu items are shared with the hotel restaurant as well. I ordered the house Pinot Grigio and it was very drinkable. They also made some of the people I was with a custom St. Patrick's Day shot that was bright green. Fun times! This bar offers seated service and you can also order directly at the bar. Restroom are located directly across the hall and the lighting is dim and ambient for a bar atmosphere. It gets very loud depending on the crowd.

Located inside of the Omni hotel, it's a great spot for a night cap during the hotel stay. Bar seating as well as pliah chairs or high tables are available. There is also a pool table in the back. The stars of the show were definitely the Chicken Poblano Soup and the Rock Star Martini. Perfect options to wrap up a day of travel. The soup is served in a nice little cauldron like bowl and topped with shredded cheese. It has a nice subtle heat that not to overpowering but compliments the flavors. The martini is light and freshing as the ingredients flow so well in the cocktail.

Went to watch Super Bowl 2024. Pretty disappointed, see photos. Furniture with stuffing exposed, food and trash on the floors and the game was projected on a brick wall! Thank goodness for the TV's. Plus we noticed a 20% charge on our bill. When asked the server said it was the tip. That's fine but we felt it was sneaky. On a positive note, the service was good and the generous serving of chips and queso was yummy.
