Pretty impressed. There was just something about the flavors that felt very homemade. The food was comforting and fresh. I wouldn't order the chicken shawarma next time, but it was all good, especially the fresh salad and garlic sauce. A good garlic sauce and great service.

Pros: Food is good, prices are reasonable, it's open until 3 am in a quiet area and it's great if you don't want fast food late at night.Cons: the inside (at least floor wise) is very hole in the wall, there are cracks on the floor but I'm guessing they will get it fixed in the future. There was an ant on the floor one time I got here but I think it came from outside. I had a piece of Tandoori Chicken that tasted undone but it could me be.Overall a great place to go if you're in Richardson since not a lot of places are open late unless you want McDonald's or Jack in the box.

You can never go wrong with a combo shawarma plate when the late night munchies hit. This place is one of the rare late night spots that isn't whataburger and provides a variety of options for you to choose from. I really like the dish mentioned above and think the portion is large for the price! The interior of this restaurant is also clean and service is fast:)

My favorite after hours restaurant!! My friend used to live down the street from Wava, it is always busy but they get your order out asap and it's hot! One of the last affordable places to get full. I order the chicken shawarma wrap $10 and add baba ganoush, which comes with a pita $7.Their pita is like Greek pita, puffy and filling. Good amount of chicken, crisp lettuce and two types of sauce!

The food and service were fantastic. I had the swarma wrap and samosas. Both were delicious.

So...this place is kind of mid, their location in Lower Greenville tastes better. If you ask for utensils though, make sure you check if it is in there, because the owner will outright lie to you about it being in there. They will even yell, curse at you, filming you without consent, if you try to check. But you gotta stand your ground, dont let the screamings of profanity wear you down.

For whats in this neighborhood during daytime, this place is Ok. If its 2am on Wednesday, then this place is fantastic. I ordered the tri-borough plate, which the sign doesnt give any explanation, but its chicken, gyro meat, and falafel, on top of rice and salad with pita bread. Its basically a little of everything. Both meats were actually moist and had a savory flavor. The chicken had a generous amount of either all spice, as it was the only thing I could taste the first few bites. The gyro meat had a decent amount of game flavor from the lamb, but certainly not gamey. The falafel was OK, but it doesnt help when it has the texture consistency of a powdered donut, with no crunch. While I could taste the chickpea, there wasnt much other seasoning present. The "salad" they use is chopped up iceberg lettuce with nothing else. Highly disappointing that its not even finely shredded, which would have helped. instead, there were some pieces of lettuce that are big and get soggy from the steam of the bowl. I do like that they keep the salad mostly compartmentalized in its own section of the bowl with nothing hot on the top of bottom. The red sauce is OK, but it was runny like Cholula. It has a decent kick and zest, but its a far cry from actual harissa. The white sauce was less than desirable, when it felt incomplete. Yes there was mayo, lemon, and seasoning, but compared to anywhere Ive been, this felt weak. I do not recommend you getting extra sauce, as they give you a generous portion to begin with. The pita bread was actually pretty good! Fluffy, with some structure to chew on still. Heats up fantastic on the skillet if reheating and had a delicious bready flavor. Its great that this place is doing such good business that they opened a second restaurant, but that doesnt mean they are the best in town. As mentioned at the top, if youre hungry at 2am on a Wednesday, this is a good option. But during the daytime, Id say theres better.

Was in the taste of some halal and decided to come here since they were one of the only ones open in the area and it was new so figured to give it a shot. The place is definitely big inside with plenty of booths and seating and open space, im assuming it gets crowded at night? The prices were listed clearly but on one menu a salad is $13 and the other it's $12. The reason for the 3 star rating is because I feel the portion size for the lam is SMALL. i know I ordered it over lettuce as it was late at night but got $13 I feel like it should have been more especially compared to other Greek places like halal grill etc. it tasted good though but might give it another try with the rice next time to see if it's a difference in portions.

Not sure why it's a 4 star. This is the holy grail of halal. Way better than the buffets or other a là carte places. I went at 11pm. One other table was here. underrated!
