Let me tell y'all that Austin GOT ME RIGHT with the sushi!!! My fiancée had just broken up with me so I was as sad as a shrimp, and spirits led me to stumble inside Umi Sushi & Grill, and ever since that day, my life changed for the better. Austin really took the time to listen to my problems while he rolled up my tuna and corn roll (a family secret recipe he soon told me later). Once I tasted the roll, I immediately knew that this place was legit, and trust me, I know because I backpacked through Thailand when I was in my late 20s. This place will forever hold a special place in my heart and I will definitely be coming back for Austin's amazing customer service and friendship. The sushi was so good and fresh. The restaurant appears to be family owned and they were very attentive. It's a nice, relaxing, clean, and cozy atmosphere but I could see it being less so at busier times. Two notes. I ordered rice and didn't receive it (which was absolutely ok because the sushi was so filling and just the right amount of food) and am afraid I may have paid for it inadvertently so be extra sure to check your bill. And secondly, if you're looking to linger a bit after closing time, don't. They close exactly on time and we're out the door at the same time as us. They were pushy on us leaving but in a really gentle way and I respected that their time is valuable too.

Good evening, my family and I came for my mother in laws birthday dinner. It was a beautiful restaurant, with a welcoming vibe. The nice gentleman that took care of us was polite and always made sure we had what we needed. Unfortunately my mother in-law found what seems to look like a hair. Tbh we had already finished and the staff just over heard us and decided to make it right for my family. We let them know it wasn't needed but they instead to make it right! We appreciate that a lot! I would 100% recommend this lovely place! Great food and even better service

This is my favorite spot for sushi rolls in Arlington. I've been going here before they changed their name. None of the rolls disappoint, I've liked all the ones I've tried. Avocado bomb is good, so are the little fried (spring) egg rolls. Miso soup and chicken fried rice is good too. Staff is always friendly. Great place if you're looking for a quick lunch or dinner.

The menu was so difficult to read because there's so many words and options. It was difficult to find pictures of what the rolls looked like on yelp because the pictures were older too. But overall the sushi was good. Our server always came back to ask if we were ready to order and constantly refilled our waters. The restaurant is spacious so finding a seat didn't take long.

The food here is pretty good! My friend and I came here on a Friday night, and it wasn't too busy. There are sooooo many sushi options on the menu, which can be a little overwhelming. There are also other dishes like fried rice and noodle dishes, if you don't want sushi. We shared the fried calamari appetizer and 3 rolls. After perusing the menu, we decided on the sexy roll, crunchy salmon roll, and princess roll. My favorite was the crunchy salmon roll but that's because I like deep fried rolls haha.

The sushi sets are incredible. I came and asked for a specific roll and they accommodated me and exceeded my expectations. The service the food. The quality are outstanding. I definite recommend if you're staying close to the stadium.
