I had an amazing birthday dinner at Uchiba, and I can't recommend it enough! We opted for the happy hour omakase, and the meal did not disappoint--each dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The ambiance is perfect for a special occasion, whether it's a romantic date or a night out with friends. The setting is chic yet inviting, making it a great spot for any celebration. While Uchiba is known for its sushi, they offer a variety of other dishes for those who aren't as into raw fish, and the servers were incredibly helpful in guiding us to options we'd enjoy. Their attention to detail and customer service really stood out.The only downside during our visit was some ongoing construction nearby, which caused a bit of inconvenience with parking. However, Uchiba offers complimentary valet service, though it's definitely a good idea to add a bit of extra time to your arrival and departure to avoid any delays. Despite this small hiccup, the experience was overall fantastic, and I'll definitely be back for another celebration!

To be honest, it pains me to write this review. Uchiba is a place that I've gone to with my dad regularly for birthday dinners and celebratory occasions. Food is usually great, service and ambiance is always amazing. The last time that I went (1 day ago), we had a lovely time. But shortly after, I suffered from the most violent case of food poisoning I have ever encountered. I threw up 5 different times the following day (among other things) and I'm honestly still recovering. I don't ever leave negative reviews but I can't let this one go on account of the fact that this was the scariest food poisoning experience I have ever had. So , unfortunately, I can't keep my mouth shut on this one. But overall the other times I've gone, I've had good experiences. Thanks,Blake

Great place to get a pre dinner bite and drinks for happy hour. Def wouldn't come here for an actual meal. The shiso tinis were strong and yummy, but the leaf garnish had brown spots on it. I would also say, at least on the night we came, the tuna was wayyy better than the salmon. This is coming from a girl who will always choose salmon over tuna any day. But the one thing that we got and actually ordered a second round and that you must try is the PORK BELL SKEWERRS! They're so good!! Not pictured is the negihama hand roll, which was actually kinda gross. Not too sure what aspect of it that I didn't like, but would not recommend that. We were also recommended the pork jowl. Those were okay, I'd prob skip it for next time. Our server was great! Each plate just took awhile to get to the table. The decor was cute and I highly recommend going during happy hour!!

A great spot for happy hour sushi! This restaurant is located at a rooftop level, and it's casual yet elegant at the same time. There's outdoor patio and indoor seating, as well as complimentary valet parking shared with uchi (although we had to wait about 20 min to get the car around 7pm given the dinner rush hour). The food was fantastic! My favorite was the Brussel sprouts, which were seasoned so well! Other dishes I enjoyed were the milk dessert, mango tapioca, and salmon and tuna hand rolls. The strawberry sake was an interesting taste and presentation, but not my favorite. Our waiter was very friendly and honest about which dishes he liked the most. He gave us some great recommendations!

We had a fantastic anniversary dinner! We arrived early and enjoyed pre-dinner drinks at the marble bar. Once seated, the meal was incredible--every dish was fresh and flavorful. The friendly staff and lively atmosphere completed the perfect dining experience. We're excited to explore their other restaurants!

Why Uchi when you can Uchiba? Snagged an Uchiba resy a couple days prior to Friday night. When we arrived, the restaurant was thriving and had a swanky and intimate feel to it. Our server recommended that we order a couple items from each section for a variety of tastings. We did just that. Our items were brought out to us in a coursed manner and everything tasted really good. We had crudo, nigiri, scallops, and of course couldn't leave without getting the fried milk dessert. All the items were melt in your mouth delicious. The service was mediocre since our server was, at times, MIA but seemed like he had a lot on his plate. Our bill was upwards of $250 for the four of us (with no cocktails), and were still hungry when leaving. Nothing a quick taco stop couldn't fix post Uchiba.

Love Uchiba! Detailed review by dish below: - Chicken Dumplings - tonkotsu broth, kimchi negi, bonito furikake ($14): Good, but wouldn't order again. Furikake was overpowering and tonkotsu broth was sour. Tasted more like celery than chicken for some reason. - Tiger Cry Bao - pork belly, pickled carrot, tiger cry relish ($8.50/each): Can't go wrong with braised pork belly buns!- Karaage - chicken thigh, kimchi caramel, jalapeño, asian pear ($13.50): Too much breading and nothing special. Best part was the Asian pear, which tasted like yuzu. Wouldn't order again. - Hama Chili - yellowtail, ponzu, thai chili, orange supreme ($23.50): This was one of our favorites. The fish was super fresh and went so well with the orange and ponzu.- Gyutoro Dumplings - westholme wagyu, negi kimchi, garlic oil ($15): Really delicious! Tasted very beefy and fatty, kind of like bone marrow. - Madai Crudo - japanese sea bream, asian pear, yuzu kosho, myoga ($21): Loved this. Fish was super tender and fresh. - Spicy Crunchy Salmon Maki - cucumber, avocado, chili ($15): Very good, but not unusual. Probably wouldn't get this again because it's something we could get anywhere. - Foie Gras Nigiri - toasted quinoa, fish caramel sauce ($13.5): My favorite! Foie was seared and the fish caramel (fish sauce reduced down and flavored with sugar) was so, so delicious. - Ikura Nigiri ($5.50): Good but same as everywhere else. Probably wouldn't get again. - Zero Sen - hamachi, avocado, shallot, cilantro ($15.50): Another one of our favorites. Really delicious but small, only 6 tiny pieces.
