I go here at least once a week! The pastor tacos are next level!! Better than any tacos in any restaurant around :) and service is consistently good and fast!

Place is clean and in a little strip mall just off the highway in Corinth, maybe half mile away from the city hall. There's a bar top to sit and then a dozen or so four-tops. Looks like they have some patio seating in the front as well. People there are very friendly and accommodating and the service is quick. I went there twice over two days. First evening I had the taco and enchilada plate (Combo 2 @ $12.00) Very simple plate and they do it well. Second night was a Friday night happy hour and my wife and I shared fajitas ($18.50 for the steak, chicken, shrimp mix) and the shrimp cocktail ($12 and with nice size shrimp). All plates were good with a slight nod to the fajitas as I thought that plate was the best. I'd stick with the steak though as that was the best on the platter. Shrimp cocktail is plentiful and has a little zing to it. Friday night happy hour ends at 6 PM and there's a fantastic price on draft beer ($4.99 for Negra Modelo). My wife found a wonderful jewel of a drink called the Glacier Float, which says frozen on the menu but can be made on the rocks.Salvador is a great bartender and I sat at the bar both times. But the servers all help one another so the service experience was pretty good. Great place to hang out after work or with friends.

The food was EXCELLENT!! Fajita meat was tender and nice char. No gristle. The white cheese dip was perfect and loved the chips and salsa!! Everything was to perfection for a Tex-mex restaurant!! Service was great! Very attentive. Ohh' and the Margarita Flight was yummy! The regular math was not too sweet and not too tart! The chamoy was my fav and I don't even like chamoy! Lol we will be back!

For Tex-mex, it's great - and I usually don't like Tex-mex. The top shelf margaritas are made with reposado tequila unless you ask for something more specific and they're great - try it with a Tajin rim instead of salt. You'll thank me later. You do pay for the house made chips and salsa, we always order the spiciest kind and that's worth it too. I love their chips and the salsa is spicy but has depth of flavor. We went in on a Sunday afternoon, in time for their brunch menu. It was also a little chilly that day so I wanted to try one of their soups too.You can add salt if you need too and my hubby always salts the chips. I don't prefer a lot of salt so the food is good for me. We started with the queso with ground beef, nice and hot, and a bowl of shrimp soup. The shrimp were large and continued to cook, of course, the longer it sat in the broth. It comes with lime and a side of rice. You dump the rice in the bowl and squeeze the limes in there too! Big chunks of green bell pepper, tomatoes, onion all nice and squishy. Lots of yummy sliced carrots that retained their crunch and the rice was a nice addition. I ended up eating all the shrimp out of there and took the rest of the soup home for leftovers!I forgot what my hubby ordered for his main entree. I got the huevos con papas (scrambled eggs with potatoes), it comes with refried beans and rice. You can tell they use lard to cook the beans with, they're good! The rice seems plain but has just the right amount of flavor to it. I wrapped up a flour tortilla, filled with beans and the huevos - topping each bite with a spoonful of spicy salsa. I ordered too much food but I also took the huevos home which would be two breakfast tacos for the next couple of days.It is family owned and operated so you're supporting local too. I've had their crispy beef tacos too and the shells stayed intact while your chowing down. I hate it when my tacos fall apart, like it's a race to eat them before they can do that. It's simply prepared with quality ingredients and sometimes, that's all I need. Go there, get some. Life is too short for boring food. If it's home cooking, Tex mex style, that you're in the mood for, Travelers hits the spot!

Was really excited to see someplace close by w great reviews. Maybe my expectations were too high after reading other reviews. The service was fantastic. Waitress was helpful, attentive and food came out quickly. The food however was just meh. Queso blanco was bland and watery. Barely stuck on to the tortilla chip. Chips were crispy but salsa was not spicy at all. My thoughts on the beef fajitas are mixed. Very tender but no char at all. So it lacked that smoky flavor I love. The brisket tacos had a strange after taste. Almost like they marinated it in liquid smoke? I'll go back and try some other things bc others here seem to love it and it's super close.

We went with friends for lunch. The food was good. The restaurant was nice and clean. There are lots of open tables to choose from. Server needs more experience or training. While he wasn't bad as a server, he needs to understand and follow some common sense and regulations. 1. He sat and ate at a table two away from us. Clearly visible for anyone to see. 2. When food is ready to be served and you're eating, go wash your hands before you serve customers. We told the manager, Salvador, and was met with a slight chuckle and a half-ass apology.

This is a followup to my original review. Since the last review, I have stopped in twice for margaritas and a Big Tex Nacho. It was AWESOME!! And the margaritas are amazing, especially (IMHO) the spicy margarita made with serrano peppers!Today I tried a combo of sour cream chicken enchiladas, beef enchiladas, and cheese enchiladas. My favorite was the sour cream chicken enchiladas, but the others are also very good. I can't say enough about the sour cream chicken enchiladas, though! PERFECTION!!!This is absolutely the best Mexican food north of Dallas, and it would rival the best in Dallas or Ft. Worth!!
