Update: I continue to frequent this place although it isn't near me. I don't buy tortilla chips or corn tortillas anywhere else. Love the borrega and, most recently, went for the platillo. Enough meat for 6-7 tacos plus the rice, beans, and salad (I don't usually like anywhere else). Nicest servers.

Went by for menudo again. I don't get this regularly but I thought I'd try it again. I liked it last time. Guess what...I liked it again! Menudo is like tamales. You only like the one you like. This menudo is consistently good. It tastes like the last time I got it. Great. Good flavor, not bland and good on salt. I love the menudo here. It's cleaned well so there no unsavory fat. That you can tell by the minimal fat on top. The ambience remains the same.

Been a longtime customer for almost 5 years. Total hole in the wall joint but has decent Mexican food and the menudo and tortillas are always great.

The third carn asada burrito was not as good as the the first two. And thinking back on the enchiladas they were pretty mediocre. Dropping from 5 to 4 but not sure it is a strong 4. Will keep you posted...Been awhile and decided to try for breakfast. I'm a gringo but not expecting a gringo breakfast burrito however didn't expect what I got either. I new what most of the options were and asked for asada breakfast burrito which they charge an extra dollar for, np. Now I expect a bit of eggs but I think maybe one scrambled egg in a mess of lettuce, tomato, rice and pickled jalapeños. Basically there regular asada burrito with an egg...not getting again, didn't really care for it. I give it 2 starts because it did fill me up and the verde salsa was pretty bomb.Might try one more time and just get a couple different tacos and see what's in them. Nice people and cool little hole in the wall that looks like it's been there a long time.

Okay so I am stumped how to review this place. Hands down the best pastor I have ever had. You know when you get that one perfect bite? OMG. Incredible. And yet, the inside of the restuarant is... awful. There is a musty mildew scent. And even though it is clean, because it is run down nothing looks clean. And there was the other food... I tried 4 meats: lengua was 4 stars, pastor, barbacoa and carnitas which were both bland. So... that's not really 4 stars overall. The Pastor was like a ten though so I rounded up.

Had the most DISGUSTING breakfast burritos i've ever had in my LIFE. ordered an egg burrito w red sauce, first bite i took i GAGGED. Then, i got charged $2 more for adding that to my chorizo & egg burrito for the potatoes to not even be cooked! HAHAH. Then, i took a bite out of that one and it tasted just as disgusting. ordered 3 burritos for my dad & i, for $22. just for it all to get thrown away. this place is so gross please don't come here. As a mexican myself, i should've just cooked them myself @ home.

This place is awesome! There's always a line which means it's good lol. For me this is the definition of real Mexican food! I will be coming back :)

Menudo was great, flavorful enough where we didn't need to add any oregano, salt, chili flakes. Also had an asada sope, carnitas and barbacoa taco, all with good a good amount of protein. Red sauce on the table is also pretty good.

They have yummy breakfast burritos ALLDAY! I recommend the potatoes, eggs, cheese, and beans!

This was our "let's give it one more chance" I ordered a gordita with pork in green sauce and got this, I took one bite and thought it tasted weird! I open it up and see this!! It looks like seeds which the poor girl in the front counter said it may be then I said that doesn't look like seeds then she went to say yeah I know what maggots look like!!! We will we never go back! The last time we had come we had gotten RAW menudo!!!!! I wouldn't have given them the one star but I need to in order to share this..
