Tortas y Tacos Estilo Hidalgo

I REALLY wanted this to be my go to in the RO. But alas, I'm should have read the other reviews. No one in here when me and the little woman came in (the cashier and cook. We're both board from not having any customers.). The people working there did not act excited to see us and were actually acting bothered that we came in. We ordered pretty standard items like breakfast, tacos and chilaquiles. My wife said the tacos were OK. Meanwhile my Chilaquiles were a sloppy mix of chips. Beans, some cheese sprinkled on top with no egg. They didn't taste any better . I ate only a little bit because they didn't have much taste. We left, promising to never return. This Taqueria has been there the longest of any business. Who's tried to be there. But I can't figure out how they have been there this long with the food tasting like this.

Really disappointed with this location. Came to wash clothes next door and gave this place a try with my girlfriend. It feels like this could be a good hole in the wall, but the food simply had no flavor. The table was full of salsas, Valentina, louisiana, and Tabasco sauce to compensate for the lack of flavor. I ordered the chilaquiles and two tacos and left feeling utterly disappointed. I can't wait to brush my teeth now. If you can, drive a little further. I gave it two stars considering the restrooms were better than the laundromat. Not great, but that's not saying a lot.

Came for their lunch taco special. Delicious fresh beef and plenty of food made eight tacos out of four the green salsa is my favorite.

Absolutely fantastic. Beat street tacos I ever had. Got the Al Pastor and the sauce along with fresh onions, cilantro and grilled onion.

I don't know why this place got odd reviews. My girlfriend ate the Flautas and she liked them. I ate the torta and my god it was delicious.!

We where waiting on our car repair near by and decided to try this place. The building isn't much to wow you but the food was. The two employees working were very nice and helpful. The food was amazing! We will return.

LOVE THIS PLACE. best authentic mexican food. so flavorful. we have been here twice now and will be going every weekend. the tacos are amazing. the quesadillas are SO good. the menudo is 10/10. I can't recommend this place more. and the price is amazing! we will be ordering tacos for our party this weekend. ignore the haters they must've been expecting tex mex

36 years old, Mexican food is my favorite food. This was the worst burrito I've ever had. Chicken, rice beans and bell peppers?.....no flavor, bland. The salsa served was hot like soup (first for me). Won't be coming back
