Wife wanted something different. I thought ...I got the place! I've been wanting to try this delicious place for a long time! We pulled in. No one in the restaurant...yes! We opened the door and saw "CASH ONLY". Got back in the car and left...maybe next time...

This place is easy to pass up on Camp Bowie but you will not regret stopping here. I always order the Pozole (rojo and verde both good) and the Elote. Food is always on point! Good customer service as well which is a plus and hard to come by nowadays. We have ate inside once but usually do takeout and it is still very delicious.

This place has caught my eye for a couple of months - finally made it. I ordered at the counter although another couple just placed an order from the table..... - Definitely possible there was a miscommunication.Chips and salsa are included with your meal. The chips were great and the salsa tasty but I prefer a bit more heat to mine. I ordered a queso - the first one on the menu - and it was delicious. For my entree I went with cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. The enchiladas were again delicious but no heat. I requested some fresh jalapenos and they were promptly delivered to my table. It was just the heat I needed. Rice and beans both had good flavor but beans were a little thin for my personal taste. The corn tortillas were good.The waitress was sweet and efficient. Parking was easy at this time of night but not sure about earlier as it is a small lot.Alcohol license is pending.

Davìd is still cranking out fantastic, authentic Mexican dishes on Camp Bowie! Camarones a la Diabla + calabacitas is my new go to ... but everything on the menu is delish. Guacamole remains the absolute best!If you like your food spicy hot, just tell your server and Davìd is happy to accommodate with any one (or more) of his signature sauces that vary from mild to four alarm fire.

Visited because of the wonderful reviews, and I have to agree. AMAZING! From the cream de jalapeño dip, to shrimp tacos, to fajitas, everything was perfect. Tacos de camaron were large and seasoned perfectly. Not over cooked at all. Chicken fajita meat was straight from the meat market and grilled with an awesome flavor.

My family had the enchiladas, fajitas and pozole. Everything was good. The Pozole is why we picked this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. Great prices and great food. I would recommend.

My wife and I have seen this place for a while and decided to give it a try for breakfast. I had green chiliquilles and she had a ham burrito. The chiliquilles were amazing! The chicken was juicy and tender and very fresh tasting. The burrito was a great size and equally as great. I asked for a spicy sauce since most places don't initially bring it out. It is a must for your burritos or tacos. We will definitely be back to try more on the menu!Lastly, the place was very clean and the lady working was so very nice.

Every time we eat here we discover a new dish. The ceviche is fantastic for a hot day. It's light and refreshing, yet fills you up and there's enough for 2 if your willing to share. The pasole continues to be a favorite and the nachos are fantastic for a lighter meal. The service is always great. We don't generally give 5 stars to anyone but this place deserves all 5.

The service is great and the food is fantastic - very fresh and high quality with reasonable prices. Unique dishes and everything is made from scratch . They also bring out samples to let you try things before ordering - definitely worth trying! Breakfast Tacos

Can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet! First off, a little small place but it has great food and outstanding service. I'm partial to the carnitas myself but I haven't had a meal there I haven't enjoyed. I would definitely recommend supporting this small business and enjoying a good plate of food any time you are near, or not so near!
