Best breakfast in Athens, bar none. The most extensive breakfast menu goes beyond the regular eggs, biscuits & coffee.The quiche of the day with fruit (lots of fruit) and the fluffy pancakes are my favorites. The staff is attentive & friendly & the coffee is good too.

I feel there are not enough true comments on here and this is one of them, The food is absolutely disgusting here and its not a good "hole in the wall" at all the buffet style food was bland and none of it is fresh no flavor and it was surprising considering the reviews those people must not have any taste buds this place is so disgusting Jaliscos or little caesars are way better

We love Tilo's! We've been in Athens for a little over a year and this is one our favorite haunts. Sometimes the buffet is awesome and sometimes a few items on it aren't but over all the food is great. Pay no attention to anything bad you hear about the buffet being "tiny". Athens is a small town and so the actual size of the buffet isn't ginormous like something you might find in thralling metropolis; say like Austin TX ;)Tilo makes amazing cinnamon rolls, cakes and pies. He opens for holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving but by reservation only. He had a really good Valentine's Day special this year and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Service is usually quick and always very friendly.

Really love this place. They always treat us great. Wonderful staff and awesome food. Desserts are always creative and classic! It's a must try when visiting AthensTexas

We ate breakfast here. It was really good. The quiche was great as was the pancakes. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.

We have been eating at Tilo's (early and current locations) for over 20 years. We fell in love with his buffet from day one and it has not changed at all. He is also a tremendous baker, just his bakery alone is reason to visit. The salad bar and daily buffet is always fresh and cooked to perfection. If you don't want the buffet, he also had an extensive menu.Only downside to this restaurant is that they close at 2:00 so you have to look elsewhere for dinner.

Street tacos are amazing. I tasted them at their food truck last week and I went back for more!

Was looking for new place for Saturday breakfast. Decided to try Tilo's. Good variety on the menu including traditional breakfast, breakfast tacos and even crepes. The food was fresh and tasty and prices were very reasonable.
