Ok I am here weekly! I love love their pupusas! They are so delicious! This place is nice and friendly plus always fast! I have never eaten at the location but I do know they have excellent to go service! You must try this place if you like pupusas! I usually go to Gloria's but I'm happy to say for the price and taste I will only get them here!

I'm Hole in the Wall Queen. This place is my kingdom. I frigging love this place, but only for one thing...PUPUSA! I've tried other things on the menu and honestly don't care for them. If you care for other items, this place might not be for you. If you care only for pupusa, this place is it. What it lacks in wholesomeness in other areas of the menu, it makes up in the awesomeness of its pupusas. I've been braving the ghettos for these wicked pupusas every week now. Ask for a side of slaw/pickled if she doesn't provide them by default. There's also complimentary chips and dips while you wait. Definitely come when you've got time though. There's only one server and she seems to be the Jill of all trades within the confines of those walls. She takes order, serves the food, handles cleaning, and organizing. I should also warn--this place seems like it's always closed because it's so quiet, but it's open. Oh wait, Horchata is pretty good too!

Wow, what a great little place! To borrow a few descriptive quotes from a fellow yelpers "This place small and unassuming". On another review I saw the phrase "joint", "hole-in-the-wall", "intimate", "mom & pop" and "quaint" were used. To me it's more like a store/restaurant/hang-out. But matter how you describe this place, the bottom line is..........food is spectacular!I was greeted as soon as I walked in ( the employees were super nice) then you kind of mosey around to the other side where the food is served and pick a place to sit where are you peruse the menu. While it may be true that the menu isn't vast, you can't go wrong with the fresh Authentic Salvadorian dishes that this family prepares for you. In my opinion they have the best Papuans (corn bean & rice) in the DFW metroplex. You should also try the Tamales de Elote and the Horchata and the tacos and the chicken tamales, and the quesadillas, oh and their yuca was yummy......Heck, even the tortillas were made fresh, so it's worth the short wait for such goodness.AND the price is very reasonable for all the food you get on your plate. So the next you have that gnawing deep down in your belly, (you know the one) the one that DEMANDS some authentic Salvadorian and Mexican made from old family recipes and you don't know where to go. I would suggest you feed the gnawing belly at Tienda-y-Lili's Restaurant. You and your belly will be glad you did! https://www.restaurantji.com/tx/grand-prairie/tienda-y-restaurant-lilis-/Three StarsHappy Eating Y'all!

my friend told me this place served salvadorean food. that was an automatic yes for me. this was one of those spots you can catch on the food network. it's a store/restaurant! as soon as you walk in, you're greeted (the employees were super nice) & you can seat yourself once you walk around to the other side where the food is served.i had my friend ordered for me since it was recommended. she kept saying that i should try the pupusas. i got two of them (chicharon) & an order of black rice, both were good! the pupusas were stuffed to perfection & went well with the black rice. as you could imagine, i was stuffed. my friend ordered a tamale, i was so stuffed that i couldn't even try it, looked good as well as everything else.the prices are real low & you get a lot of food. the server checked on us often (a plus) & the food didn't take long to come out. i could definitely see myself coming back for some tamales & horchata.

Small and unassuming place. It's a store and a restaurant so the cashier was also our waitress. She was so sweet and the food was out of this world. I had a seafood creamy soup (I can't remember what it's called) and papusas and both were great. Would definitely recommend.
