This place was pretty good. I'm in town for work this week and we had a pre-planned dinner at Thirsty Lion last night. About 25 of us.Had a buffet style dinner with Cesar salad, burgers, spicy chicken patties, and veggie patties, mac n cheese, and house made potato chips. The food was decent but not great. I'm sure the buffet style setup contributed to some of the quality. Spicy chicken was good but the burger was a little tough since it likely sat in a warmer. The bar staff and wait staff were excellent. Very attentive and professional. The vibe was cool in the main dining/bar area downstairs and was very open upstairs where we actually ate. I'd love to sit down at a table and try some of the food I saw coming out of the kitchen next time I'm around.

3.5. A chain - and I've been to another Thirsty Lion location and my experience was also 'ok.'They have a seasonal menu. I was surprised to see that they had ramen... the menu literally has everything. Asian fusion, burgers etc. It's a wide menu but tbh not much stood out to me. I would try the korean fried rice next time..Weekday night was busy enough. Calamari was standard - a lot of breading imo. Cauliflower bites w/ orange sauce was good but mainly due to it being drowned in sauce (lol).Drinks tasted good. Ordered the halibut (~$35, panko crusted), cilantro rice, veggies. The panko crusted was light which I liked. The rice was tasty. the issue was... the center of my halibut was cold!! And it was the last dish to come. I didn't bring it up... and I didn't get sick the next day, but this is a miss for sure.Overall, I think most people would enjoy it! Not somewhere I'd be dying to go back to though.

Great food, service and atmosphere! Most of what we got was on the brunch menu. Photos are front and back of the brunch menu. The only thing I didn't care for were the beans but everything else was great!

No wait! Lots of parking. Excellent location in Grandscape. They had great St Patrick's menu and drinks had the espresso martini. Eggs, shepherd's pie and ahi tower all delish. Plus: had a birthday bonus dessert!. We didn't go to the rooftop area, cool, modern and def a recommended spot!

I came here a few weeks ago, and my experience was "meh." My server started off strong and then the service just fizzled. You know, where the server disappears after the food comes only to return when it's time to pay. I ordered the artichoke spinach dip, Szechuan orange chicken, tacos, the passion fruit and mango agua fresca, and the raspberry drop. The dip was just okay and bland, however the accompanying chips were good. I wish the dip had more cheese the Orange chicken was okay the riced was basic the orange chicken to me tasted bland and the pieces I had wasn't high quality. I was very disappointed. The tacos however were scrumptious these are a must try.As far as the drinks surprisingly the passion fruit mango aqua fresca was the standout compared to the raspberry drop. My raspberry drop just wasn't mixed well. It wasn't sweet either. As I expected.Unfortunately I won't be back mainly due to service i experienced. The menu is cast so I'm assuming certain things would be better than others.

Um, how have I not written a review on this place yet? I have been here many, many times, and the reason is because of their amazing location and happy hour items. Atmosphere/Ambiance - 5/5 - Great location (Grandscape), with an excellent indoor and outdoor area. You can bring your pup outside, and that is really great for myself.Staff - 5/5 - Friendly and attentive. They are really nice, and make sure to check on you especially if you are outside.Food/Drink - I have ordered soooo many things here, and the next time I come back, I will update with photos. In the meantime, I will list the HAPPY HOUR items that I recommend:- Garlic Sesame Edamame - Little messy for the kids, but great flavor.- Spicy Fried Cauliflower - Not spicy at all, but great flavor.- Grilled Burger Sliders - Nothing too special here, but I love sliders.- Spicy Fried Chicken Sliders - Not spicy, but great if you are a fan of chicken.- Beer Battered Cheese Curds - The dipping sauces pair really well here.- Ahi Poke Stack - Very refreshing...has a great marinade on the fish itself.- Crispy Calamari - Nothing too special here, but great for the kids.- Bacon Wrapped BBQ Shrimp - Wish there were more pieces, but again, recommend.Drink wise - I just get their HH Old Fashioneds.Overall, this is one of my most favorite Happy Hour places to go to. It is located in a great spot, and they have so many selections during HH that it is hard to not find anything to eat here. I definitely recommend this spot and will be here time and time again.

We're always looking for trivia places that serve decent food & this is one of them. Got the sliders appetizer & the panko crusted halibut & the shrimp & butternut squash linguine off the fall seasonal menu.Sliders were cooked right & the fish was nice & light.Room for improvement: - took about half an hr just to get a glass of unsweetened ice tea; only one server/bartender to service the upstairs area for trivia night- had to ask for the additional seasonal menu each time, which is a shame since there's a good variety of items to choose from & a loss in sales for the Lion- trivia starts after 7PM & ends at 9:30PM, even though website states 7-9PM, so that needs to get straightened out3.5 stars

Met a friend for brunch and everything was fantastic. Edith provided exceptional service, even though we were catching up and took longer than normal to order. We both had espresso martini's and they were top notch, one of best I've had recently. My avocado toast w eggs was even better tasting than it looked. Had slight sprinkle of red pepper flakes to amp up the taste. My friend had the southern spicy chicken Benedict and raved about it too. I'll definitely return for brunch or to try their other menus.

Great service, great food, and great vibes! I enjoyed my French dip sandwich and blood orange mimosa so very much! We had a table of 10 and were (I know, I know) a walk in party. They sat us right away and took the best care of us. I would certainly come back here to try more dishes out.

Thirsty Lion is a LIFE SAVER bug shoutout to Jason the GM. We were celebrating our anniversary and Valentines dinner. We had originally had a reservation at a different establishment and on our way they called to cancel. I was left panicking on how to make this night special. I called on a whim and short notice and by fate Jason answered. I explained the situation and without hesitation he got us a table. We arrived we were treated above and beyond by staff and the service and experience was out of this world.Jason and his team made the night memorable and one in a lifetime. He periodically checked in and expressed his empathy with our situation but made up for it with his kind spirit and remarkable hospitality. He is a true hero in many ways!I cannot say enough good things but if you have not been please go visit Thirsty Lion and make sure to say hi to Jason. This man is a legend. He made my night and a lifelong memory for my wife and me.Customers for life!
