I had come here to meet up with some work friends to celebrate January birthdays. I had a shrimp po boy. It was the delicious. It came with a side of fries that were perfectly seasoned. The service was good and the staff are very friendly. The ambiance is a bar with loud music, yet a fun vibe.

We absolutely loved this place from the moment we walked in. We received a very warm reception when we walked in. Our drink order was taken within 5 minutes of us being there. Our hostess was extremely friendly & took our order as soon as we were ready. The food order came out much sooner than we expected & everything was delicious!!!! I loved the catfish & shrimp! They had a great crunchy batter & the inside was cooked perfectly! Also, the fish was real catfish & not swai! Loved the seasoning! The fries were good & the chicken wings & were typical. We loved the decor & the music gave a wonderful vibe! My hubby liked everything & cleaned his plate of fish & shrimp. We will definitely be back!!! Our hostess also said that each night is a different theme. Can't wait to go to some of those nights. As we left, we were greeted the same as when we came in. So again, we will definitely be back! We arrived right when they opened, so the restaurant was semi empty, minus one other table. Chill vibe, nice atmosphere, clean establishment, friendly staff & delish food. We ordered a 6 pc shrimp basket and added one catfish filet, a shot of tequila and L.I.I.T. Babii, let me say that Long Island Ice Tea was KAYNE WEST STRONG ‍ One had me feeling right. Anyone who drinks more than two is a good one. In the words of T-Pain, "I like the BARRRTTtender!!!" Lol... seriously, we definitely enjoyed our experience. Our waitress was so polite & and accommodating, to say the least. We will definitely be back, Yelpers, y'all should join us. P.S. There's a D.J. section & small dance floor

I went here around 2p since a lot of reviews mentioned the wait time. I figured that time of day would be safe. I ordered takeout online and the food was ready when I arrived. No wait time and no crowd. I'm sure it's different at night especially since they have live music. I ordered the catfish and shrimp combo along with peach cobbler. It was not bad but not worth me driving to Duncanville. I was told there was no cobbler, so I settled for the strawberry cake. It was meh. I may go back, however and try their burger since I hear they taste homemade.

I was in the mood for a good burger. Ordered the cheese burger fries and a small beans & rice. It only took about 15 minutes for my order, so kudos. I noticed for a Monday the bar area was the place to be. Nice setting for live music and drinks. That burger was seasoned to perfection, chefs kiss. It was hot and the veggies were fresh. The beans tasted good as well loaded with meat and a good tasty sauce.

OK, I went here while I was in Dallas and I must say the food is amazing very authentic. I always love to try new restaurants when I am out of town and this one chef's kiss.

Music was really good we went last night Tuesday 10/08/2024 for the live band. Food was excellent I got the catfish & shrimp basket with 4 wings. Some of the best catfish I have had in dfw!! Highly recommend. Its a old school chill juke joint type of vibe.

The food! Yes! The Food! Was excellent! The fried green tomatoes were seasoned to perfection. The catfish tasted as if someone uncle deeper fried it outside with love. The drinks tip the bartender.The place is understaffed. I saw our waitress jumping through her section. I can't remember her name but she was dark skin with a red head wrap. She was pleasant. She had a big section and she was working it. I gave her a tip of gratitude of $20 and she was like is this for me and kept saying thank you. Yes, honey! I see you and I appreciate you.The band. I thought when they did a cover of Jill Scott that Jilly from Philly was really up there. The male singer, chefs kiss. The man can sing.Now, it was a busy night for Thursday. SOC class of 83' was having part of their reunion there. But I am glad I stopped in and I will most definitely be going back.

This was my first time attending there the atmosphere was nice.The food I thought was cajun cookin not.I ordered a fish basket that I could have cooked at home. The servicer left out the pickles, and she said that you have to request the pickles if you want them. I stated that it did'nt mention the request for pickles it said that it come with the basket.I ordered water and tea with substitue sugar did'nt get it until later. Tea and water was kinda warm with no ice. This is the kicker if you want to listen to the live band $5.00 per person. So I was wondering if the band start to play and I'am not finish eating do I pay.Or do they make you leave ? that should be taking care before you order or sit down. Anyways who do you know that sell hamburgers in a cajun cookin. NOT MY COOK OF TEA ***
