This place was surprisingly good! The menu is like I wrote it myself! Anytime a place has all the things I want on the menu I'm suspicious of the quality, but they pulled it off! Real authentic home cooked food! I had the pot roast, and my coworkers had the chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak, & steak. Everyone was very happy with their food. The service was quick, and with a full bar/pool table we will likely start coming here after hours too.

Solid Spot for a Poboy! I tried the catfish, Poboy 10/10 toatsed hoagie bun Nicely seasoned catfish . With all the toppings, tomato lettuce, pickles, American cheese. Solid bite.I also tried the fried shrimp a great addition , a great decision. Nice Cajun breading.Thank you well turkey for a great late night bite! Definitely won't hesitate to try something else! This restaurant has been here quite a long time and it's a survivor1970's decor is a bit dated, however don't let that stop you.Food is always good, sometimes great. Daily specials are value packed and I've never left hungry or disappointed.Vanessa, my usual waitress (lunch time) is great. She's engaged with her customers and makes people feel at home.I eat here once a week.

Don't let the exterior fool you....This little place has great food! Today we order the carne asada quesadilla and catfish lunch specials. I think we moaned the whole time. Our waiter was new so we had to pack our patience but Angela was great! Stop in why don't ya!

02/01/24- our steaks were the thinnest Ribeye's I've ever seen but they were cooked perfect. The sides were ok. The big negative was our server who barely spoke English and barely came to our table, my wife had to flag him down 3 times!! We shall skip this place in the future.

Surprisingly, a good hole in the wall. Friendly service and good food. The prices are reasonable.

We spent $50 in this place and found a rock in one of our steaks and told the waiter and host and they still charged full price then I called manager the next day Martha and she said she could t give money back but would replace the steak and when I called to order it and give the place another chance to make up for it she said that her and the other managers decided not to replace the meal since I gave them a bad review I was like wow after she hung up on me and never returned my call telling me she didn't have time cuz she was too busy earlier in day your suppose to satisfy your customers do they come back Word of mouth is everything so I'm putting word out that they didn't even try to make up for their mistake and act like thier mad at me cuz I'm expressing myself after bad experience when they should go out thier way to show all thier customers that they will make up for their mistakes but obviously they won't do you judge for yourself if you want to eat at the double wide trailer or not The food looked good and smelled good and had that grill mark on it but when you bite into something that doesn't suppose to b there makes you not want it again and no one else to have the same experience especially when thier only excuse was that they buy thier meat in bulk and cut themselves and no telling what is in there according to host last night

This place has it all. Walking in, you get a different experience than any normal chain restaurant. The servers were friendly and attentive, and the menu had such a wide range of food to choose from. DO NOT miss out on the bacon cheeseburger and white wings. The vibe was laid back, we will be coming back!

You have to really pay attention to the time frames of happy hours, count how many drinks you ordered, and the prices on the happy hour and daily specials menu vs what is on your bill. I have been to this restaurant many times in the last several months and more than once, I have had to address price discrepancies on my bill. The last visit was last night, arrived around 5:30PM. Happy hour is 3-7pm. I ordered the daily special for Friday, the rib eye for two. I was disappointed that the salad was less than fresh, more like old lettuce, purple cabbage, carrots, and a few croutons. 1 out of 10. I was disappointed that the rib eye was like they took one ribeye and cut in half, 1/2 inch thick or less. served with fries, fries were good. BUT, for the price of $40 and probably a food cost of $10, this is not a good deal. In past visits, I had to address alcoholic drinks being too watery. My first drink this visit was a house margarita on the rocks with salt and it tasted like it did not have any simple syrup. I asked for it to be sweetened up and i think they just added orange juice to it. At the end of my visit, I had to address the bill with someone behind the bar and that I was being charged $45 for the ribeye special for 2 instead of the $40 on the menu. I also had to address 3-4 margaritas that were priced at $9 instead of the daily special of $5 each. My check was adjusted subtracting $20-$25. Quality is lacking in regards to the food, drinks, service and what you are being charged. Maybe they hope people will not notice and pay the incorrect, higher charges. Someone I know likes this place so that is the only reason I go there, but otherwise, I would stay away, OR if you go, pay attention to the quality of food and drinks and menu prices vs what you are charged.

Steaks had a burnt flavor, with no salt content but the sides were a great size. They forgot my shrimp so I had to go back, but when I did they gave me extra. Also the brownie was very rich but not worth $8 for some crumbles I could've made a whole pan for that much. Still a cool atmosphere and bar staff was pleasant.
