Great dive bar! We saw the place when we went to Martin House and had to stop in. Our bartender (Mallory?) actually washed our pint glasses, introduced the wife to a drink which will become our "special" holiday go to for this year, taught us about peanut butter whiskey, and discussed the ghost scene in Fort Worth. No food, but a taco joint is close by and the menu looked worth trying. As usual, the bartender makes or breaks a place and she was fabulous. It's a little out of the way for us, but we will definitely be making a trip back!

We've been here a handful of times, usually when leaving Martin House, the brewery directly across the street. Sometimes you need something a little stronger and less creative than what you'll find on Martin's menu, like a plain ol' boring vodka cranberry or whisky and coke. The Tub is a true dive bar with no windows, no kitchen (but there's a vending machine and I love potato chips!), a couple pool tables, a couple vintage-looking couches, cheap drinks and daily drink specials, karaoke nights, live music, and neighborhood locals at the bar. Every bartender we've had here has been super friendly and cool. You're greeted when you walk in the door and the overall vibes are friendly and mellow. There's a small stage featuring an old bathtub and some Halloween-y decor peppered throughout the room. You'll find a couple larger-than-life-sized gargoyles; a flickering, gothic, candelabra chandelier thing; a couple Dia de Los Muertos skeletons just hanging out at the bar... Love it. The Tub truly is a casual, comfortable, no frills dive.

Always love the atmosphere up here, good people and great drinks. Love the staff but the only thing I wish they had is a karaoke night during the week. It's a perfect bar for it and would be a blast.

RACIST BAR. As soon as we walked in (3 Puerto Rican's and 1 Mexican) after leaving Martin House... you could feel the bad vibe. We tried to sit at the bar and the bartender told us that we couldn't sit there because it was "occupied." There was nothing initiating that the spots were being used like every other place would. Fine. We went on and ordered a beer. One Puerto Rican friend of mine went up to the bartender to ask again and bartender got into it with him. After only one beer we decided to leave because of the vibe. Bartender pretty much walked behind us taunting us all the way to the exit. Have never been back again and believe me, never want to go back. Have never experienced this before. Such an awesome spot to go to after Martin House but this has totally ruined it.

Bathtub Gin's is. Little bar across the street from Martin House Brewing. It's a great place to come hangout and get a cold beer, play some pool and listen to music. It reminds me of some of the home town bars I hung out in back home ( MO). If your in the area come by and check it out.

Little hole in the wall next to Martin House. Here's a great tip, if you show up to the Martin House Brewery early you can catch Martin House on Tap at Bathtub Gin's for 5 bucks. And if you choose to park at Bathtub Gins for 5 bucks you get one free beer on the house.

The owner has some serious issues. He had his shirt off in the bar. The staff aside from him is ok. However, the owner doesn't seem to care about how he should treat patrons. There are a lot of apologies for him, but that doesn't make up for his trashiness. My suggestion is don't bother stopping by if you're leaving Top Golf.

Wanted to find a chill dive bar to play some pool. We had 7 in our group and decided to try it out. Probably 20 people there when we got there, maybe less. We stood/ sat around a table by the pool table, put some quarters down, and waited our turn.1) No fault of the bar itself, but when we walked, 2 of us got up to the bar and ordered for everyone while we hung out behind them. A patron at the bar started, very loudly, to talking about "who the fuck lines up at a bard, what is wrong with these people. Sit your ass down at the bar and drink if you are gonna drink." Just kind of kept going. We were in no one's way, just waiting for our 2 friends to start passing back the drinks. Not the fault of the bar, just weird customer interaction, we ignored it. Got the vibe that they were regulars.2). There were 6-8 people at the table beside us. A blonde woman fell backwards off her stool from being drunk. Was afraid she had gotten hurt and it took 2 men to get her off the floor and back onto the stool. Not the first time I've seen this at a. A bar but it's important for the next part.3). At the end of the night, my group had had a few rounds of drinks, closed their tabs, and we were finishing up. Had 2-3 shots left and the pool game would be done. Still people around in the building. Blond chick directly looks at our group and just starts yelling at us to get the fuck out. The 4 of us playing pool weren't really talking and the other 3 with us were standing around our table on their phones. We had no clue what was going on. She then yelled to take our drinks outside to the parking lot and get the fuck out. Looked at the clock and it was 1:58. Someone in our group asked who she even was and apparently she works there. If they had said they were closing so we needed to finish up and leave, we would have hurried up and left. We don't like to be the ones making the service people wait around to close. We were just thrown off because we never heard last call and didn't know this chick was working as she was drunk off her ass, literally. Again, there were still other people in the bar, but she was yelling at us specifically. Not sure if maybe she misheard someone one of us said and it set her off? Honestly no clue. She then looked at us and told us we can finish our pool game (we didn't ask, she offered, took 2 more shots), but our friends had to go. She got pissed when they said they were throwing away their drinks to go outside. One guy with her started threatening to fight us. We just walked out.4). One of our friends was in the bathroom when we left and when he tried to leave they locked the door on him and wouldn't let him out. He called us and we told him to just go through the back and just find a way out of there. We have no clue what set them off other than them being intoxicated, we were being quiet and minding our own. We weren't drunk, and I wasn't even drinking alcohol. Not sure why they just started yelling and cussing us out instead of announcing to everyone that the bar was about to close.Done a lot of dive bars, this is the worst one I've been to... in 8 states lol. Thought I was being punked because it truly felt like the first footage you see on Bar Rescue before he goes in to yell at all of them lol.
