Finally stopped by to support this business and I have no complaints. The food is good!!! And that pound cake... oh my goodness. Amazing and will definitely be back to try more. Everything is fresh and homemade. You can tell. He is very friendly and greeted us immediately-- phenomenal service. Clean and approachable food truck right in front of pep boys.

Everything was fresh and delicious. I'm at a loss for words really. Sausage and cabbage were well seasoned and prepared. There were so many layers of flavor, I wasn't prepared for the experience.The fish platter was light and delicious. Again a wonderful experience. Bonus! Deserts Chef Neil's lemon cake was so light and delicious. The perfect balance after a wonderful meal. I've already recommended to family, and will definitely be back often to travel through the menu.

The Soulful Chef Neil definitely puts the soul back into soul food. His menu is full of all kinds of foods, while making sure he cooks the most healthy options. I love going here, and not even on my "cheat day" because he always has extremely healthy options that coincide with my diet goals.

Best damn ribs I've had in a long time! I got the 3 meat plate (ribs, sausage,& brisket) all very tender and juicy. Plate comes with 2 sides and toast. I had red beans and rice & coleslaw

They catered my friend's wedding and the food was delicious! We had rice, chicken, beef, garlic mashed potatoes, pita bread, and sauce for the meat (peanut and chili). Everything was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend them for all event types!

Amazing! Was driving by and decided to stop! My bf got the pork chop sandwich and it was soooo good! I got the sausage and cabbage and it was so flavorful!! Caught me by surprise. Definitely will be searching to go again!

I tried a sampler yesterday while they were parked at Hop Fusion. I was expecting great, but instead, we received awesome TX BBQ. The pork ribs were perfectly tender but not over cooked. The brisket was spot on and the mild sausage was some of the best I have had. With just the right amount of smoke on it all I call it a big win. Oh, and please try the the jalapeño Cole slaw - wow.

Soooo very glad we found The Soulful Chef... It happened to be just by chance too! The food truck was parked beside the Sam's Club off Bryant Irvin.
