The vibes were immaculate. As soon as we walked in,there's a little sitting area and they had a light ring to take pictures! It was a large restaurant with inside and outside sitting and a dog friendly patio! Unfortunately, the service was slower than we wanted and the table was stacked up with plates for a while when we were waiting for the check. The music was entirely too loud and we could barely hear each other at the table. I even asked one of the wait staff to turn it down, but that couldn't be done for some reason. We came in just after 1pm and the dining room was spare-- it was not club party music time yet....And then we could barely hear the wait staff over the music, which is why I say,"it couldn't be turned down for some reason" I simply couldn't hear their answer. We asked twice to the hostess and the wait staff in a sporty looking suit coat......My octopus was delicious. Perfectly seasoned and tender-- not chewy at all. I was expecting maybe a full octopus or maybe even a half like they do at a Mariscos, but the to tentacles were it. I guess it worked out in the long run because I wasn't over full. My brother's Trompo tower was literally a showstopper. The presentation is amazing and it comes with all of the fixin's. We all loved it and shared it! My Mom seemed to love her Arrachera, she said that it was cooked the perfectly. boyfriend's food was cold. He said he wanted to tell the waiter to pop his plate into the microwave-- if there was a waiter to be found. My boyfriend has never had this type of chili relleno before so he didn't know if it was supposed to be served cold due to the sweet sauce on top or what? He said that it was also lacking the chicken that came stuffed inside. He said it was mostly vegetables.

Wanted to love this place! The ambiance was terrific, but that sadly, was the best part of the visit. You could only order from little iPads for the menus. The problem is when the menus don't work, they have no alternative paper copies of menus. They then redirected us to their website, but there's no descriptions of the food so we had to guess based on pictures. Took forever to get any drinks while staff stood around again staring at us and we were sitting at the bar. Food was mediocre, probably would have been good but everything was served cold. Think this place could be good but the apathy of the staff was evident in everything we did. Our bill $181 without tip for 4 people, but was not worth it.

First time going to the Reserve for dinner. We were greeted and seated on the patio immediately. We liked that the menu was a tablet and all the entrees and dishes had pictures so you can see what you were ordering! We ordered 2 margaritas and they were perfect. For dinner, we ordered tacos, a taco bowl and a pork chop dish that our server recommended. Everything was excellent! We also had ordered guacamole and queso for appetizers. Seriously - the food was so good, fresh and hot. It came out in a timely manner. We sat outside for a while as we enjoyed the weather and the atmosphere and of course the food, We highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We love this place! The food is great as are the drinks! I had the Reserve special with fajita chicken and steak and barbacoa. All three were amazing as were the rice and beans. The barbacoa was my favorite. My husband had the parrillada single with fajita chicken, he said it was wonderful. We shared chips and queso, they mix the queso in a hot skillet at the table. We sat at the outside bar, they have a great patio. Marcos was our bartender and he was amazing. Actually the best service we have ever received here! Thank you for a beautiful dining experience!

Was in town for business and decided to try this place out. Staff was friendly and attentive for the most part. I had the chimichanga with charro beans. The beans were excellent and the chimichanga was ok. As I am eating it along with the beans, there is what looks like beanie weenee in both my beans and chimichanga. When I asked about it, I was told it is sausage. Though they are not completely wrong, there should not have been any in a chicken chimichanga as it stated nothing about it on the menu. I wouldn't say the restaurant is bad but i can't say it's great either. The food is just a different profile than what I expected.

Was headed to Thirsty Lion for some cocktails and dinner and saw this New Mexican spot and thought to give it a try. My go to at a Mexican place is a chili relleno to see if I'm going to like the rest of the menu. So I ordered the ground beef CR and the hubs got the chicken quesadillas! First off the happy hour special $9 drinks are seriously two big gulps or swallows if that. Prob need three of them to make them equal in size to a normal cocktail at a bar. The glass is heavy crystal so you can't see how small the actual drink is. If that is the same drink they normally charge $14 for I would have sent it back. Definitely great taste but not even close to worth what they are charging. Next was the chips and salsa. Chips were ok, nothing special but the salsa was warm. It was strangely warm and had no heat at all. So wasn't a fan. Strike two. Server asked what kind of sauce I wanted on my relleno and queso was an option so I went with that because I had no idea what "pearl" sauce is. The relleno came out with what looked like sausage gravy on it. A LOT of sausage gravy. I had to scrape it off and the weird thing is that it tasted like gravy. There was no cheese taste at all. It was just strange. Beans were great and rice tasted like fried rice at an Asian restaurant. It was pale and had carrots and corn in it and a very strange flavor. Husband said his quesadillas were good but they were a little overcooked and more like a crispy taco. While I'm glad we stopped to try the place I wouldn't make it a trip to visit again. Just wasn't our cup of tea.

Please keep this place around! The vibe is amazing, food is delicious, service is friendly and the details of the decor of this place is on point. We had been there for dinner and for happy hour previously during the weekdays, which is 3-close and it's a great spot for patio dining when the weather is nice. The photos were taken on a nice Saturday morning around 10. I don't understand why it was empty. We had a great dining experience. I ordered 3 tacos, my husband ordered chicken and waffles and my 3yo had pancakes. We were pleasantly surprised by the unexpected flavor of the coffee; which we were told it had cinnamon and brown sugar that was shaved from a bar. Great place, cool chairs, fresh flowers, and spacious. I plan to come back again.

Very awkward service. Was greeted with, "How can I help you?" I said, "Uh, we want to eat," and kinda chuckled. Our server was nice but again, a little awkward. She was asking if I wanted anything to drink, and I told her I had only just started looking at the drink menu. So she goes, "Do you need a minute to decide?" Yes... That's what I was trying to say. She kept saying, "Excuse me," every time she approached our table to check on us or bring food/drinks. It was just very unusual. And the seating is very weird, as well. You can't lean back in the chairs - They're angled pretty far back. And what's with the egg-shaped swings? Very out of place. But on to the rest of the issues... I basically asked for light/easy cheese on my order, and it came out with way too much cheese. The salt shaker on the table was clogged/wouldn't dispense, so we had to pull out the stopper on the bottom to be able to use the salt. Around 8:00 or so, there was some DJ who started blasting music, making conversation difficult. And to top it off, my friend is pretty certain this place gave her food poisoning, since she was vomiting in the middle of the night. We definitely will not return. Should've taken other reviews to heart and not come here to begin with.

The Reserve has some hits and misses, but overall, it's a decent spot. Unfortunately, the queso flameado was a letdown. It's basically hot Velveeta cheese, which is far from the traditional flameado you'd expect. If you're considering it, I'd say skip it.On the flip side, the Paloma from the bar is a must-try--refreshing and perfectly balanced, it definitely hits the spot.Though it's not on the website menu, I had the pork chop, and I highly recommend it. It's packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. If you're dining here, the pork chop is the way to go!

Went to meet friends for dinner at The Reserve... not impressed! Positives were, clean, good environment, chips and salsa great, nicely decorated, "happy hour" is daily until 10:00. Negatives were primarily service. From the moment we sat down in the almost empty restaurant on a Friday evening at 7:00 we were being rushed by our server. So much so one person in our group refused to order anything. Seems like a family owned/operated place that lacks experience. Food was pretty bland and overpriced. I would not recommend this place.
