If you love visual stimulation and a good mystery, Meow Wolf in Grapevine, TX, is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you step inside, you're transported into a surreal, otherworldly adventure where surprises wait around every corner. Secret doors hide in unexpected places--like inside a fridge or a treehouse--making every turn feel like stepping deeper into a living dream. After just ten minutes, you'll forget it's 2025 and feel like you've entered a virtual reality, completely detached from the outside world. The sheer amount of detail in each room makes it easy to spend hours exploring, uncovering hidden narratives, and simply soaking in the mind-blowing art. This experience is fun for all ages, whether you're solving the overarching mystery or just enjoying the wild, interactive spaces. If you're anywhere near Grapevine, do yourself a favor and check it out--you won't regret it!

Meow Wolf was truly unreal! I'm pretty sure we spent hours in here, and there was never a boring moment for sure. Minus one star, because we were both extremely overwhelmed throughout most of the experienceI think the main issue is that there were too many people inside, and I think it would've been more enjoyable if there were less. Nonetheless, it was a cool experience and definitely a good topic of conversation!

It's a cool spot to wander around for a bit and get "lost" for about 2 hours, but it's not worth $50/person. It was too busy, there were too many people and someone totally farted in the little arcade room. However, I did like the app that I downloaded. It helped me check off the rooms I visited and gave me more of a backstory on this particular Meow Wolf. Cool experience. Would I do it again? No.

Worth the effort! Interactive Pop Museum?Hollywood set design for other worldly movie? Two hours of fun suspended belief? The Real Unreal is all of that and more. Entering through the front of a complete mid century home built inside a suburban mall, you're immediately put at ease with the sound of summertime crickets and night sky That's where real ends and unreal begins. Designed to "get you lost in" ,the entire installation is designed to creatively capture your attention.Go online and read up on it knowing, only an in person visit does it justice and I say ...Go!

Great way to spend an afternoon! It was extremely busy even with making a reservation for a specific time slot. We got the 3D glasses but they weren't necessary. There is so much to look at, every room is a little different and exciting!

I didn't think I was going to be able to relate to this cosmic artistic conglomeration, but I had a group of friends who had an extra reservation so I accompanied them. It is hard to explain what I experienced or to put it into words that do it justice. But once I settled into the experience, yes for me it took an adjustment period, I began to appreciate the work and artistry and collaboration that has to take place to make something like this happen. Is it worth experiencing? I am going to say yes, even if you are skeptical you would enjoy something some people describe as "crazy" and "whimsical ", I would suggest you open your mind, relax, and enjoy! Also, They were busy when I went, and I kept thinking going at an off time, like during the week, might have given me an opportunity to enjoy it even more.Check it out!

My partner and I visited early on a Sunday morning and seemed to beat the noon crowd. The staff were friendly and helpful. We've visited the Denver and Santa Fe locations and enjoyed this one as well.

I love Meow Wolf concepts and was excited to see they had one in Grapevine while I was visiting for a work conference in Arlington. I spent my free day here since six flags was closed but was very impressed with all the detail and spent hours in here! I've been to the one in Vegas so it was so cool to see how different this design was and I think I liked this one better. The story was more clear throughout the exhibit I liked the interaction more. This is definitely a fun stop if you're in DFW.

This was my first meow wolf experience ever, and it was a great one!I didn't really know what to expect going into it, but it was super fun interacting with everything in the exhibit. It took about 2 hours to explore every single area. You can either look around at your leisure or download the app to do a semi-guided experience. There are drinks and food available for purchase outside the entrance, and drinks are allowed inside. (I'm not sure if the snacks are also allowed inside.)It wasn't overly crowded when we went (on a Monday afternoon), but I imagine that it can get super crowded on the weekends.I definitely want to check out the other locations, especially the new one that opened in Houston.
