Was at the VA hospital and remembered I'd seen POT on instagram! Picked up 2 of the classics for my wife and I. Added Sour Cream and the cream sauce! The potato was fantastic and held temperature all the way home from South Dallas to Little Elm. So so good. The service was prompt and polite and my order was ready right on time.No ambiance as this is only a pick up restaurant.

Sooo I saw The Pot trending on Instagram, and my sister and I love us some loaded baked potatoes - so of course we had to check them out. This is a come, place order, pick up order, and leave type of place. There was a table outside with a few seats but majority of everyone sat in their cars to wait for their order and left. There are a good amount of options to choose from but we both ordered the Sea Pot. Now the Sea Pot comes with salmon and shrimp and smothered in a cajun crawfish cream sauce. We ordered 2 potatoes with the same exact changes - No Shrimp No Cajun crawfish cream sauce Add The Pot signature cream sauce ( we don't eat shellfish) and we told them that. We also bought 2 of their blueberry mint lemonades. Total was around $75 with tip. Crazy Price Right - yes I know! We were very excited to receive our food only to be completely let down. My sisters potato was at least put together correctly. Mine still had the crawfish cream sauce on it even though we specifically said NOT to add that and substitute it for the signature sauce. So I had to wait another 25 minutes for my order to be corrected. My sisters potato was still hard, so she could only eat the top half of her potato. There was barely any sauce on hers, so we had to request a side of signature sauce. The aluminum bowls that the potatoes are served in are way too small. If you're not careful, sauce will definitely spill out creating a mess and they are extremely hot. The owner should actually rethink her packaging. Set the aluminum serving bowls in a cardboard box or something. The drinks were WAYYYYY too sweet. We both had to pour out half and dilute them with water. My corrected potato was served to me with ZERO sauce so I had to talk to them again and let them know I had no sauce. So they gave me 2 sides of their signature sauce. The potato was decent but not worth all that hassle and wasted time. Our requested changes were not hard to follow. Literally no shrimp add signature sauce instead of crawfish cream sauce. That's it. But I feel like their workers just don't pay attention to what they're doing. I mean the work space isn't big for special requests to get lost in translation. Just pay attention to the order that comes through - period. All in all we will never go back. $75 for 2 potatoes and 2 drinks along with an incorrect order, twice, and a potato that wasn't even cooked all the way through, is terrible. Great idea but the execution isn't quite there.

Tried this place for the first time last night and had a great experience. Arriving, we were a little confused because the first thing you see is a convenience store. The Potato Bar is off to the side of that. Walking in, we were greeted by the lady at the counter and handed a menu. We got inside around 5:35pm, placed our order and was handed a little device that would tell us when the order was ready. It's smaller in the inside so waiting outside or in your car makes the most sense. I'd say our buzzer went off around 5:50pm. We ordered two of the Sea Pot potatoes, one without the crawfish sauce. The three staff members inside of the restaurant were extremely nice and went above and beyond with their service. The portion sizes were top notch and the flavor was definitely there. We also ordered two of the lemonades and thought they were great too. For me, service adds to the how much you enjoy the food. Good food and good service, makes for an amazing experience. We will be back to try the other potatoes!

What better way to review a black owned business to close out the last day of Black History Month and write my first review of the year. I saw this spot on Tik Tok and knew I had to make my way here ASAP! I ordered the Meat me at the POT- chicken. I was not expecting that whole container to be filled with food and was pleasantly surprised that there was no space left open. The potato was huge and filled with bell peppers, onions, cheese, and chicken. That sauce baby. That sauce was so delicious. It was seasoned perfectly! Whoever was cooking listened to their ancestor and did not season it one granule more than they should have. The lady at the register was nice and you could tell the people that work there enjoy their job. It definitely translates through the food. If you decide to pay with cash you better have EXACT change cause if not the difference will be a tip LOL but the food and customer service is well worth it. It's not a dine in establishment so you get a pager to buzz when your order is ready. I want to try the seafood baked potato next time! Y'all better gone on down to The POT and get you one of them baked potatoes. My big back enjoyed it and yours will too!

A Spud-tacular Experience! No pun intended! I never thought a simple baked potato could be life-changing, but here we are. This baked potato was a masterpiece. Perfectly crispy skin on the outside, fluffy and tender on the inside - it was like biting into a cloud of potato heaven. I had got the buffalo chicken one and I swear it was the best baked potato ever!!!The toppings? Generous and flavorful! The butter melted just right, cheddar cheese oozed into every crevice, creating a delightful gooeyness with every bite. The chicken was grilled to perfection topped with an amazing buffalo sauce with chives and green onions. It was more than just a side dish - it was the star of my meal. If you're looking for comfort food done right, this baked potato is a must-try. Let me not forget the lemonade was amazing as well. I need that by the gallon!!!!!! The service was good as well as ambiance with your wait. Highly recommend!

I love a good baked potato, so it stands to reason that I would check out this spot in South Dallas. It is a takeout spot. The staff was very friendly and they all joked around like family. The wait was not very long. Only 4 people are allowed in at a time, as the area is somewhat small. They do, however, have a location just outside for you to sit and wait. I got the seafood baked potato. I requested no salmon and the lady was nice enough to ask me if I wanted extra shrimp instead. Of course, I did. My BFF got the lamb chops potato for herself and the steak baked potato for her son and daughter. They all looked great and the taste was amazing. I ate on mine for two days. They are just that big. I will definitely be back.

Foodie Alert! I recently had a dope baked potato experience at The POT baked potato bar, a ghost kitchen located in the South Dallas area. They have a wide range of baked potatoes to choose from, but my favorite was the Seapot and the Texas Buffalo spud. The customer service is great! You go inside in order and once it's completed they will bring it to your car piping hot and ready to go! So If you're in the area, go get stuffed and tell them Ms. Hope sent you!NOTE: They are open on Tue-Fri 11am-6pm

The POT offers a unique menu with an impressive variety of ingredients, but it may not be the best option for picky eaters like me--half the fun is in the adventurous combinations, but I found myself wanting to remove most of the toppings. With dishes around $25, I decided to share with my dining companion rather than order my own. This is strictly a takeout spot; there's no dine-in option, so plan to eat in your car or take your food to go. The tiny ordering area barely fits more than three or four people, so dress appropriately for the weather. There's a covered waiting area, which helps.Taste: 7/10Wait Time: 10/10Ordering Experience: 7/10 (Staff seemed overwhelmed. No paper receipts--digital only, which was an issue for some older patrons.)The wait wasn't bad--about 30 minutes for our potato order, despite having a few orders ahead of us. They don't accept cash unless it's the exact amount, with no change given. I interpreted this as a hint to leave any difference as a tip. Overall, it's a spot with potential, but go prepared for a grab-and-go experience and a bit of a waitThere is a market next door where you can purchase drinks if you don't like the options of teas and lemonades given.

$15 for a potato with butter and bacon bits. Absolutely not. On top of that, there's no dine-in area and you can't wait inside. So disappointed.
