I had 4.5 hours in Dallas and needed to see two of my best friends and one of them worked by the University of Texas at Dallas, so I found this restaurant nearby. It did not disappoint. While I am on an eat healthier kick right now (or trying to be), I enjoyed the food. I got the chicken pesto Caesar salad with tomato basil soup. The tomato basil soup tasted amazing, especially on that really chilly day in Dallas. It wasn't as smooth as I thought it would be, but maybe tomato basil is thicker and I just didn't know it. The chicken pesto Caesar salad was light and had light dressing and it was tasty. I'd try both of these items again if I head back to this part of the DFW metro. The service was quick which was great since I needed to get back to the airport and the restaurant had just the right amount of noise in it.

We visited The Fifth Fireside Patio & Bar for Sunday brunch and had an enjoyable experience overall. I ordered the prime rib sandwich with poblano cheese grits as a side, and also tried a mimosa and a bloody Mary. The grits were the clear standou; creamy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The sandwich had fresh, soft bread and the au jus was tasty, but the beef was slightly overcooked and had an "older" taste that was a bit disappointing. On the sweeter side, the limon ricotta pancake was excellent; perfectly light, fluffy, and full of flavor. The service was perfect, attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere was upscale yet inviting. I recommend sitting in the upper-level booths if you can; they're cozy and offer some extra privacy. We're looking forward to returning to try more menu items and also their dinner service. With just a little more consistency on the food, this spot could easily become a regular favorite!

Went here with my cousin for brunch and it was so good! The whole place had a classy and chic feel that also made you feel cozy and relaxed. There is also an upscale-ish, rustic, and modern vibe that lends itself to a romantic date or a casual outing with friends. There is plenty of seating inside or out on the cozy patios for small intimate outings or large groups. The service is amazing and staff were all friendly. The presentation of the food was extremely appealing and the taste was outstanding. I ordered the deviled eggs as an appetizer and the brunch burger for myself, while my cousin ordered the prime rib French dip. My dish was so delicious I ate it all before I got a picture and my cousin said his was delicious as well. I'm going to have to come back to try more of their plates as I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place.

We were in town for a family function and brought a group of 6 in for lunch. Service was friendly and quick, and we all enjoyed what we ordered. My favorite item was the deviled eggs that we got for the table, and I loved the elote and pimento served with tortilla chips (GF). Since our experience was so good, we brought a group of 12 in the next day for brunch. Our server was great, and I was impressed that all of our food orders came out at the same time. I ordered the Huevos rancheros, which was flavorful and quite filling. Everyone enjoyed their food, and the background music was low enough that we could converse without raising our voices. We definitely will come back when we're in the area again.

I absolutely loved my brunch at The Fifth Fireside Patio/Bar! We sat in an upper booth, and it was so cozy and intimate, perfect for catching up and enjoying the meal. Our server was great and very accommodating, which really added to the experience. I had the standard breakfast, and everything was great, the eggs, breakfast potatoes, fresh fruit, and especially the candied bacon. Seriously, that bacon was unreal. I also treated myself to a lemon ricotta pancake with mascarpone cream and blueberry compote, and it was one of the best pancakes I've ever had. The whole vibe was warm and inviting, and I can't wait to come back!

Cannot plead the Fifth here... I must share. This place is great. Fried green tomatoes are crisply fried and fantastic. Brussels with bacon are solid. Went with the prime rib French dip sandwich au jus. The chicken and waffles and Thai chicken sandwich were also great. All farm to table. Solid restaurant with great service and look forward to next visit. Wish I would have snapped more pics of the food... but here is red velvet ice cream.

Good food, service and ambiance. Loved the deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes for appetizers. We got mimosas, tried the cranberry mimosa for the first time and loved it. Also the lemon and ricotta pancakes (no pictures) were so zesty and so so so good! The service is great! We had a great time here! Highly Recommend this place for good food and drinks!

Service was good as always. Wine was delicious. Atmosphere is wonderful. However, I got the eggplant Parmesan and was not very impressed. The sauce was bland... almost like it came straight from a jar without any seasonings added. Lastly, how in the world do you make eggplant rubbery? Almost like leather... I had to chew and chew and chew before I could get it down. I couldn't cut the eggplant with a fork. I had to saw at it with a knife. I've never experienced anything like it before. This place is always hit or miss with the food, which is so unfortunate, because it's really pricy.
