The Daiquiri Den

#SisterTripDallas I should have gone with my first mind and went to a different restaurant for drinks. But here I am. Ok, overall for drinks but horrible food!!!! Too salty, it took a long time to come out. I had the shrimp plat with garlic. The grrlic was fine, but whatever batter they are putting their fish and shrimp in needs to be tasted for balance of salt. It was soduim overload that I honestly couldn't finish my meal. They only had one employee, and he was trying his best, but he was struggling with the crowds coming in. Then they had no one to really clean up the tables after people finished eating outside. So trash was EVERYWHERE! The drinks after a while were too sweet, which means there is not a good balance of liquor, ice, and favor. So like the food, too much of something. Maybe stop for the drinks, then go next food to the Mexican restaurant for tacos. We told ourselves we should have done this.

A nice vibe if you want a good daiquiri and some seafood. I saw an instagram post about their lemon pepper catfish a few days prior and had to try it for myself.Great customer service and pretty quiet for a Sunday afternoon. Everything tasted great and worth the price. I think they have music or a DJ on Friday nights, might have to check that out.Lemon pepper catfish, who knew? It was DELICIOUS!!

Went here and didn't disappoint. Our first time here we had the fried shrimp tossed in lemon pepper buffalo, wings tossed in the same sauce, and catfish. My shrimp and the wings were amazing. My friend advised the catfish had a fishy taste but wasn't unsure if that's the correct way it should taste or if he should've had it tossed but either way he gave the catfish 3.5/5 but everything else a 5. We didn't try a daiquiri so I can't advise but they looked good. Service was stellar, food was great and the decor is cool. It's a cool laid back vibe & I would like to try it in the evening because they have a colorful outdoor patio with speakers and 2 TVs. I'll be back

My favorite daiquiri place. The wings are amazing. Service is usually good. The atmosphere is always nice very much chill vibes during the day and party like at night.

Sadly, I didn't get a chance to try this place out. Yelp has hrs of operation starting at 10am on Saturday, google has 11am, on the establishment door there are no set hrs, but sign is flipped to OPEN and lights are flashing OPEN! I called, no one answered. Does this place NOT want business? The establishment has a colorful vibe that grabs your attention. From photos/videos it looks like a cool spot on the inside. Food/drinks look good and I hope they get it together. They're missing out on a lot of money not being open when they should be.

Came here with one of myHomies who said it's one of the best in town. I can't lie he didn't lie. They offer a variety of daiquiri mixes with some nostalgic names. I had the wild thorn berry and he had a rocket power. While i wasn't hungry so i didn't try the food they had what seemed to be some great options. The inside looked like they had just painted and redid it and the paintings they had were very cool and fit the daiquiri mindset. It's located right off the highway so really easy to stop in grab a drink then head on out.

First time trying the food, as I usually normally just come here for the delicious drinks. I heard some much about the hot lemon pepper catfish so I had to see what it was all about. I got the catfish nuggets that come with fries and hush puppies . Portion size , I expected a lot more from the nuggets. Fries were seasoned well and hush puppies were moist and not dry. I was under the assumption that the catfish nuggets would be tossed in the hot lemon pepper sauce but it appeared as if it came out of a bottle and just poured onto them. Catfish nuggets were fresh and hot no complaints there . Price wise , for $14-$15 I expected more on my plate than what I was given. Still a good meal .

Happy hour surprise! 1/2 offs drinks. Service was great! Very cool atmosphere! Young man at the counter was in the midst of adding rum to machines. Told us about the happy hour deal. Tried the life saver and almost lost it.....lol... it was strong!!!!!! (Not a negative in any way.) After my nice size I'll be back...virgin sample without the rum. Ordered 32oz drinks totalling $12. Great deal. He also told us about the DJ nights!

It's deplorable that I am making this post. However, the level of service and quality of food that I received today (Wednesday, 5/17/23) is unreal. I have dined at the Daiquiri Den before, and I've received fantastic service and food, but for whatever reason, tonight was different. There was only one couple ahead of me, and it took an hour for me to get my food! And no, I'm not exaggerating; it took a whole hour! I order a 16oz Texas Tea daiquiri and two hot lemon pepper catfish baskets with fries = $45.59 (with tip). Now I'm no chef; however, it should not take this long to get our food. No one else was there, as you can see in the photos. I remained very patient for several reasons, one just out of respect, and two, I figured they were short staff. However, in the midst of me waiting, I realized (about 30mins in) I had not received my drink. I kindly asked the lady when will I receive my drink or does it come out with the food. Her response was oh yea... Like what? Oh yea. Remind you; there is no one in the store! Eventually, we get our food, and I notice that it's not what we ordered; it's just a regular catfish basket, not the "hot lemon pepper" basket. I proceeded to ask "the chef" has something changed; this did not look like what we ordered. He said yes, it is, then I challenged him, and he said oh yea, you're right; let me fix that for you, my bad. He brought out the two baskets of fish, and they barely had any lemon pepper hot sauce. I thought, forget it; it was a lost cause. I then proceeded to ask can I at least have some ranch. They returned with one ramekin of ranch and said that's all we got. I asked the lady who took our order if everything was ok tonight; I told her I'd never received service like this. She gave some subpar excuse stating she couldn't control the kitchen and the front area. I said ok. I took a few bites of my food and left. I couldn't even enjoy my meal. I understand things happen; you may be short-staff etc.; however, that should not affect the level of communication and customer service you provide to your clientele. Do better!

Came 12/30 in afternoonWe must came at a bad time bad time. Wanted to dine but girl taking order was supper rude lol. She had face tattoos. Kept arguing with the boyfriend who works there too? The daiquiris got us right and food was very good though. The couple honestly ruined the vibe. Taking food TOGO if we come back
