The Crafty Irishman

Dropped in for lunch. Could t decide between the Traditional Irish Breakfast and their curry so I ordered the breakfast and a side of curry. Perfect accompaniment to the breakfast which was excellent in its own right. Food came out quickly and was very hot. Service was awesome, I had water today and Haeley made sure my water didn't go empty. Very attentive.

This place quickly became my favorite restaurant, earning a solid 5/5 rating across the board! The service, ambiance, food, and drinks were simply outstanding.Service: The staff was excellent, attentive, and made us feel right at home.Drinks: I highly recommend the seasonal plum cocktail--it was a delightful treat!Food: The highlight of my meal was the Monte Cristo, which was unbelievably delicious. Made with smoked turkey, ham, Wexford Cheddar, and Swiss cheese on sourdough, it's beer-battered and fried, then dusted with powdered sugar and served with raspberry preserves. The presentation was stunning, and I couldn't resist sharing it with everyone at the table. They all agreed it was the best sandwich they had ever tasted!Overall, The Crafty Irishman is a must-visit for anyone in Dallas. I can't wait to go back!

Fun dinner out on the patio tonight at the Crafty Irishman! We got there right as happy hour was ending but our sever hurried and put in my drink order so I could still get the Crafty Deal: pint of Irishman and a shot of Tullamore Dew. Awesome!My husband got a Heniken Zero to drink along with the Vegan Shepherds Pie and I got the regular Shepherds Pie. Everything was great and it was perfect weather for sitting outside!! Cheers!!

I visited this spot tonight and had Jerry as our waiter. He was super friendly and kept checking in on us while offering great recommendations. We tried a bunch of dishes; the wings were fantastic, but the burger lacked flavor. The curry and clams were decent, and the cheese balls were amazing with a nice spicy kick. The place had a great vibe and was packed, and now I'm kind of regretting not ordering the fish that was suggested, so I guess I'll have to return to give that a shot.

We decided to come here before a concert at the Majestic which is conveniently close by. The reviews were great and after coming here ... they were spot on!The fish was huge and flaky with a perfect flavor. The waiter suggested a side of their sauce and that took it over the top!The mac n cheese was creamy and delicious and the sausage was yummy too. The shepherd pie was good. The portion looked small but was actually very filling. The pretzels were great and you get two!The drinks were quite good but even better, the service was excellent. Our waiter was friendly, had great suggestions and was quick with our orders.We definitely recommend eating here!

Went around noon on a Saturday and it was pretty busy but we were still able to be seated right away. Had the lemon poppy pancakes and they were quite good but not super lemony. Would still have them again. Oysters were fresh and delicious along with the vinegar and sauce accompanying them. Would definitely come again.

Great service. Attentive staff. My friend and I were greeted walking through the door. The place isn't huge but has a very cool feel to it with these individual pub style booths. There's outdoor seating as well. My fish and chips was one massive piece if fish. Cooked extremely well with a nice crispy exterior. The flavor could have been just a little better but the lemon and tarter sauce really helped make it a great meal. I'd gladly come back.

It's a very typical Irish pub. Nothing overly mind blowing nor terrible. Our waitress was efficient, but wouldn't call her overly friendly but did her job well. She answered any question you had and was attentive. The food itself was above average IMO. We had some wings, nachos and other items. All were good and better than expected. The inside itself is fairly small, maybe 8 tables plus a middle section. It definitely for smaller groups under 4 as they have 1, maybe 2, spots that can accommodated groups large than that. Overall, it's a solid choice if you are in the area.

We were looking for a quick bite after a performance at the Majestic Theater. Location was great for us so we walked over. It has a good pub feel and we were pleasantly surprised that they pour a good Guinness. Service was attentive and friendly. The fish and chips were tasty, although it could have used a few more chips.
