Cakes have so much more meaning than we give them credit for. They are a synonymous with celebrations during your lifetime from birthdays to weddings and anniversaries. I have searched for the perfect bakery to represent this portion of my celebrations for many years and my search is finally over. I have decided that The Cakery will be a part of my family tradition by providing their artistic and delightful cakes during every celebration. Never have I seen such beautiful design and I was surprised by the artistry of the flavors as well. Even the smallest cake is made with such amazing flavors and designs at amazingly affordable prices.They created the mose wonderful Birthday cake with less than a days notice and blew me away!For the first time ever... I wish yelp had more than five stars.

First time, last time. Called here to order a cake for my wife's birthday, was told I would need to send the order in via email, so the cook could review it and have all the details, verified the email address twice then sent in the email and received no response. I called again was told the cook would get back to me, but they never did. Finally on the eve of my wife's birthday I rushed over on my lunch break and when I informed the lady at the register I'd never heard back regarding my order, all I got was an "oh I'm so sorry" with no further explanation. I bought some cupcakes and left as I was out of time to make alternate arrangements. If this is how you guys treat paying customers you don't deserve to be in business.

Don't expect to find a picture of a cake online and think that is what you will get. The flavor was good but the attention to detail was very lacking. A few people made comments about it looking like a horse not a dragon. 2 things that were in the picture weren't in the cake. My wife liked it, had she not I'd give it a 2 star. It wasn't a terrible experience but in the email I sent several pictures and specifically said tell me which one y'all can do the best job on, I got a quote for all 3 cakes I sent which to me means we can do them all.

The most amazing baby shower cake ever! I asked for a Woodland Creatures theme and they made it come to life! Brought tears to my eyes I was that happy Thank you Sydney and staff! If I ever need a cake when visiting Texas again, you will be my first stop! My Texas family loved it!!! I can't imagine it being any more perfect than it was!!!

Was only able to buy 5 flavors when I stopped in this a.m. (a Friday) though it was apparent there were a LOT of chocolate cakes gong out by what was on the production tables.Chocolate and vanilla: cupcake dry. Red velvet was ok. Strawberry had great flavor; carrot cake amazing!

I ordered a very elaborate baby shower cake for my baby shower. The owner did an amazing job and several people asked where we got the cake from based on the design! When we met with her for our trial/design ideas, we asked if she could tone down the sweetness level and she stated she could not. Well, at the shower, we noticed there was a lot of cake left over and we had plenty of different flavors and a top vegan layer for our guest to try. Our guest didn't care for the flavor, but loved the design! With the amount I paid for this cake, I wish they would have loved both! I am attaching a picture.

The Cakery made a beautiful cake for my party and it was delicious! Very happy how they made it look so special.

A wedding I recently attended commissioned The Cakery to make their wedding cake but there was a unique twist. Instead of a traditional bridal and groom's cakes, they had individual cup cakes. They had 4 flavors: vanilla, chocolate, carrot, and lemon. Regretfully, I didn't get to try the lemon but I did sample the other 3. And they were AMAZING. The best carrot cake I've ever had. Hands down.If you have an event coming up, I HIGHLY recommend The Cakery in Southlake. You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I ordered our wedding cake here at The Cakery for our wedding on 11/30/2018. We ordered a 4 tier cake (red velvet and snickerdoodle) and our guests absolutely loved it! We received so many compliments about how great the cake tasted. My mom and I went to a couple of cake tastings after our tasting at The Cakery and none seemed to compare. I feel like other bakeries in the metroplex focus more on elaborate, intricate cake designs, potentially compromising flavor and moisture. 100% satisfied with our wedding cake
