Pre-Christmas gathering between family and friends, 6 in total. Needed a spot between Bedford and Granbury, that had vegetarian options. Thuy's sleuthing came up with Thai Select.My first impression, when we walked in, was not very good. The small, brightly lit, eating area was a collection of 2-tops and 4-tops. It was not very cozy. Yuk.When asked, "How many?", our replay was "six." A puzzled look came over the woman's face, and then she said, "Come this way." She led us to an adjacent room, nicely lit, with larger tables. OK, things are looking up. Thuy and I sit down, order two hot teas (choice was Green or Jasmine) and start looking over the menu. So here's what we ordered. I can only comment on what I ordered, my go to for any new to me Thai place: Pad Thai w/ tofu. Unlike other menu items, there was no indicator that heat level can be requested by number, so I asked our server to make it spicy. I like my pad thai spicy! It was good, a little on the sweet side, as it sometimes is. Also not as much as tamarind sauce as I like, but perfectly acceptable. Ok, other items at the table: Pot Stickers (fried), Som Tum Salad, Pad Key Mao, Panang Curry, Teriyaki (Chicken), Three Mushrooms (from the vegetarian section), and a Goon Ob Woosen. This last dish, "Goon Ob Woosen", was ordered by Thuy, and needs a bit of a description: "Jumbo shrimp with glass noodles, shiitake mushrooms, peppercorns steamed in a clay pot." Very good, and if you like ginger, this is the dish for you. The only complaint I heard was that the Som Tum (Papaya Salad) could have been spicier. This was from my nephew who, like me, likes things pretty spicy. I regret that I did not try it. Bottom line here is that it was a great meal, with friendly service, and we did not feel rushed to get out (even though closing time was fast approaching). Note: Prices on the on-line menu were not quite what we paid. Some of the actual prices were a bit higher. Just pointing this out so that maybe the IT guy can do an update. That being said, prices were very reasonable, considering we are still getting over the shock of food prices in CA.

Also terrific basil stir fries.100% consistent and fresh, with very generous portions, Thai Select never lets you down.Picking up your own take-out is as good as dining in, which is hard to accomplish. But, beware, I would not recommend ordering it from a delivery service. Places, specifically Door Dash, really jack up the prices completely obscenely. You could get an extra tasty appetizer or a large, delicious specialty soup for the up-charge Door Dash applies to every item on the menu.

Ordered to go. Requested "NOT SPICY/CHILI ON THE SIDE" YUM WOON SEN SALAD, got home and literally burnt my mouth off. Called to make the issue known and was told I needed to bring it back to prove I didn't eat it and would then receive a refund. I have a dietary restrictions and can't consume spicy foods. I ordered it the way I would be able to eat it. Why would I call pretending I did not just for a refund?My husband and I frequent this restaurant way too often, hence me knowing this can be customized--however have only ordered to go a few times (not this menu item). Seeing this customer service & inconvenience over the phone is very disappointing.

SUPER GREAT LUNCH SPECIALS! I'd say this is where Thai Select shines... We've had Thai Select a few times since moving back to town, however, it's always been take out until... today. We went at 12:15pm which was a very busy lunch hour. The place was popping and we quickly figured out why! It's the lunch special. It comes with a spring roll or egg roll, salad and entree aka it's a TON of food. You will leave full and happy... if you order the right thing. (: The ambiance was clean and the service (even with it being packed) was attentive. They were on top of filling our water! I know it's a small thing but it's an important thing to me. I've had the Massaman Curry (best thing I've tried), Green Curry (solid), Pad See Ew (a bit too sweet) and Pad Ma Kier Yao (eggplant was not fully cooked -__-). I'd order the curries again although I do wish there were more veggies included in them! I'm still trying to find the rice or noodle entree I love... just haven't yet. Will I be going back?For a dine in lunch, absolutely. It's a deal and there's still so much to try!

We have been ordering from here, since 2018. The Food is quite good, and have never had a bad meal from here. As we mainly get take out, I cannot rate the table service, but the people at the counter are always nice. The restaurant is clean, but the ambiance is more for take out and not really for a sit down meal. Would recommend the Tom Khar soup, Panang curry, Pad Kee Mow. Definitely ask for some fish sauce, with chili's for a more authentic taste.

My mom recommended we order food from here. We ordered a variety of food for 6 of us. When we arrived to pick up our food the staff was welcoming and nice. The restaurant was clean and was located in a plaza with parking. The food was delicious. Some of the dishes we made it spicy level of 2-3. The won ton soup was really good and spicy.

The best ! Their family has Ft Worth covered as far as Thai/Vietnamese food! Across from Arlington Heights HS, HULEN/Sw Prkwy, west side Camp Bowie and loop 820, others I can't recall! Thai select is in the Home Depot parking lot on HULEN and 820! Just the best , always flavorful and consistent! Clean and convenient! Pad Thai is unreal authentic!
