Texas Best Smokehouse

Wrong hours for Sunday 11/24/24. Wasn't open when I came in 845a sadly. Was able to try their spicy bbq sauce on my Sonic chicken sandwich so yeah at least there condiment bar and gallon bbq sauce warmers were ready to go

Omgosh! The best bathrooms! I don't know why Texas establishments do not have toilet seat covers but this place does! All businesses should all follow these standards!

Amazing Texas BBQ! Brisket is moist, cooked to perfection, and the sides...omg ...the sides are insanely well seasoned This place is a gem in this gas station spot! You will not be disappointed! Friendly staff

So, we were heading back to Dallas from the South for work and our group was hungry so we decided to check this place out. We were first skeptical since it was in a gas station but we really did not have much of a choice.Upon entering, it was a gift store wonderland. We were greeted by really nice goodies so we ended up picking up some.Then we headed over to the restaurant. The guy made my husband try a slice of the brisket but it really did not taste extraordinary so he ended up getting a small size of it with a drizzle of habanero sauce. I ended up getting the veggie plate.When it was time to eat, the brisket melted in my mouth. The small slab of taste test he gave us did not do the brisket justice. My husband said it was the best brisket he's ever had. The sides are also made with so much love and seasoning. The Mac and cheese was just so delicious, the mushrooms was good too and so is the mashed potatoes and the green beans. I am not really sure if there is anything that isn't good coming out of their kitchen.Afterwards, I got some chocolates and some chocolate wine to go.We enjoyed this place and we highly recommend it! This place deserves so much recognition because the employees put a lot of pride in their work.P.S no photos because we devoured our food.

Normal stuff, had a food counter claiming best something or other but was closed when I went in. Had some weird Mexican candies, over priced water and energy drinks but they also had something of the likes I haven't found since. Some of the best darn jerky around! It's not saddleback if that's your style but the consistency of the meat and flavor had my mouth watering and galloping back for more!

Loved the quick stop- everything you need is there! It was great macaroni! The family loved the entire meal!!

Gas station bbq, enough said. An old man told me not to get bbq if the place don't have a used smoker. This place must truck it in. Not good, small portions, expensive.

Not worth it! This is the second location and it was nothing near my 5 star review of the last one. This one is in Italy, Texas. Not happy spending $28 and change on this meal. BBQ was ok. The rest was salty and not that great. I guess some are good and others .... Not so much.

I stopped for some brisket to take home forsupper. When I got home and opened the container I was very disappointed. I know there is some fat in brisket but my order was literally half fat and half brisket. Won't be stopping there again.

I discovered this place about ten years ago. Fantastic BBQ. Fantastic BBQ sauce. Lots of meat on your plate..they put more meat on the Take-Outs than on the sit-downs...Amazing BBQ. I live in Waco TX not San Francisco like YELP has got me listed.
