My fam had a great time here! We tried the steak tacos, nachos, queso, a few different margs, and the complimentary salsa and chips. Everything was delicious! Everything was seasoned well and super flavorful. Seemed like high quality ingredients all around. We went in on a quiet rainy day, so service was really fast and attentive. Our server was very nice and explained their menu well. The restaurant itself is pretty small inside, but I figure if it had been sunny the outdoor area would have been packed! I can see this place being a really fun spot on summer nights. The free parking garage is definitely a plus as well!

Just another restaurant on the trail.I was super excited to try Tequila social when they were building it as I would pass the adverts as I was walking the Katy Trail. It seemed like a Tex-Mex twist to the Ice House and would be a great addition. Unfortunately, the experience did not add up to the hype. To begin, we chose to sit outside but I had to run inside to use the restroom & that experience alone made me glad we chose outside seating. Inside was very compact and uninviting. To top it off, the plumbing in the bathroom was subpar.Moving back to the dining experience: Our waitress was kind; however, seemed under experienced as she would often drop things off without asking if we needed anything else. My husband ordered the spicy margarita with the carne asada tacos, and I had the chicken quesadillas. The spicy margarita was strong and spicy which is a win in our books; however, the meat on the carne asada tacos was fatty with a less than flavorful "salsa" on the side (I can honestly say I've had spicier tomato soups). The worst part of the experience was when my quesadillas came out with a long hair cooked into the top tortilla meaning it came from the kitchen area. I understand that mistakes happen; however, I was able to see the hair as soon as the waitress set down our food. This disturbed me as that would mean the chef, expo, and waitress all saw this food and didn't even glance to make sure it was up to basic standards (I also want to note that there were only a few other tables there so business/distraction is not a viable excuse). I will say that I appreciated how prompt our server was to address this when I notified her; however, from that point on I was very conscious to check my replacement food before eating. The replacement came within about 15 minutes and had a decent amount of chicken and a nice balance of meat and cheese. The accoutrements were lack luster. Sour cream = standard, pico de gallo = clearly store bought and tasted like it was on its last day before going rancid, and the guacamole was just mashed avocado(no seasoning, lime juice, etc.)All in all, I do not plan to revisit, but I hope they make the necessary changes to stay a trail hot spot!

They have a parking garage, so that's already a WIN! Great patio with plenty of seating and access from the trail. Good affordable drinks and food and Happy Hour specials. I'd definitely recommend it and will be back!

They have a great happy hour and the atmosphere here is great! I thought the margaritas were great but that the food was just average. We got the carne asada tacos and chicken quesadillas. They were both just average. Overall, I would come back and just get drinks.

The salsa is kinda watery. We came here to watch a football game and it was sorta difficult to see the TVs without breaking your neck. The happy hour margs are pretty good! The location is also fantastic, since it is right off of the katy trail.

Anytime my coworkers want to do HH after work I always recommend this restaurant. The appetizers, drinks, food, customer service, and ambiance is top notch. The vibe is real low-key with a diverse crowd. Not to mention the margaritas will sneak up on ya if you're not careful...lol. I love everything about this restaurant. I've definitely been gatekeeping this spot since last year, but I guess with me doing this review the cats out of the bag.

Amazing patio full of seats, shade, fans, and tvs. The food is alright but the drinks (specifically the margaritas) are very good. Location is a little confusing just because the entrance is through a parking garage, but they have signs that you can follow to the garage. There was no valet when I went (a Saturday night), but since the entrance was in a garage there was plenty of parking that was free.

One of my favorite places to go to for happy hour in dallas. The margarita was delicious and so was the food. I got tacos and they were deliciously prepared. I loved the outdoor seating and the ambiance was amazing. The service was super fast and the servers were very friendly! I will definitely be back

I picked this spot due to its 3-7 happy hour and location. It was hot as Hades so we sat inside, but in cooler weather, would have loved to enjoy the large patio butting up to the Katy Trail. Talk about location! The happy hour had $7 quesadillas, tacos, and guacamole. Margs were also on the happy list the I enjoyed my Spicy margarita on the rocks while my husband drank his frozen mango/regular marg swirl. Not a huge fan of that. Inside, everyone was having a good time and it got very loud. All surfaces were hard so sound was bouncing everywhere. The staff handled a loud table with finesse, and they calmed down thankfully. Still, it was an overall time and all the food was solid. I'd go back.

I came here with a friend for lunch. We decided to seat outside since the weather was quite nice. We started out with the Cantina Nachos and some Empanadas. The Cantina Nachos were pretty good and so were the Empanadas. The presentation of the empanadas was amazing. For drinks I tried the Spicy Skinny and Blood Orange Coconut Margarita, they were both delicious but the Blood Orange Coconut was my favorite. For my meal I had the Cantina Burger and it was delicious and flavorful. For dessert we decided to try the Churros and they were unfortunately not the best. I did however enjoyed the ice cream they came with. Our server was great! She was attentive and gave us a lot of recommendations. This is a fun little spot to hang out with friends.
