Teatro Bistro & Cocktail Lounge

Incredible experience! My boyfriend and I went here with some friends and were highly impressed! We started with the bread basket, candied pork belly bites, and calamari. For the entrees we tried the chicken parmesan, vodka penne, rigatoni bolognese. Lastly for dessert we had the cheesecake with a side of pistachio ice cream, which was to die for! The drinks from the bar were also incredible! Would HIGHLY recommend this place! It's perfect for a date night

We came here on 02.23.24, curious as are many locals to see what happened to the old Tap In Lounge. This restaurant's opening had definitely generated some buzz. The service here was incredible. From the hostess to the servers and the managers - all of them treated us warmly and like family. We had expected a bit of elitism considering the classy vibe and the celebrity chef in the kitchen - but it was pure Texan hospitality. We only wanted a couple of drinks and a small bite - so we opted for espresso martinis and pork belly burnt ends. The drinks were really good and the burnt ends were incredibly delicious. The pork was tender, sweet, and savory. Every bite melted tastefully. At the end, Chef Pellegrino came out to a neighboring table and paused for a couple of pics with us - she was super friendly and very sociable. All in all this was a great first time here and we look forward to coming back for the full dining experience.

Teatro is an exciting new bistro in Grapevine. It replaced a beer and cigar bar. The ambience is French meets Italian: lots of wood, black-and-white, clean and comfortable with a long, old school style bar.We were greeted immediately by the host who kindly and quickly took us to our table. Our server was on top of it as well. We met friends here for DFW restaurant week. We all enjoyed the restaurant week menu. We started off with an old fashioned and French martinis. Everyone enjoyed their drinks. Three people ordered the potato and leak soup. I went for the octopus since it had great reviews. Wow, that was a good choice! It tastes like cod with a nice chard skin that gives it a crunch. The balsamic glaze was nice to dip it in and gives it that squid ink look. For our entree selections, one person ordered the tortellini, one got the baseball steak, and two of us got the salmon with the black beluga lentils. The salmon was phenomenal along with those lentils and purée. I almost ate every bite and that's a rare thing. That was the best salmon I've had in a long time and I get it quite a bit at restaurants.For dessert, cheesecake and tiramisus disappeared rather quickly from our table. Since I am gluten-free, I went for the gelato. I had one scoop of pistachio and one scoop of salted caramel. The salted caramel was amazing! We will be back to try other menu options. Enjoy!

Failure sorry. Poor service and overpriced. I came there for hh. Not ya the staff said no one wants to work for hh. Failure in this market. Try Dallas.

I love this place. It is new, and the food and service is great. The bar is nice and there is a great atmosphere. Parking in back or across the street. Walking distance to everything in downtown Grapevine.

Greeat food and wonderful service. We have been here many times. The bar is great as well.

Teatro never disappoints and last night was no exception! I had chicken parmesan and my husband had the pork chop. Both were oversized portions - I brought home half of my chicken dish. Teatro's food is always deliciously and creatively prepared by renowned Chef Carla Pellegrino who graciously stopped by our table! Such a friendly family atmosphere, too! Servers were very attentive- and knowledgeable about our Cabernet wine choice. Unfortunately, we were too full to have dessert this time but would highly recommend the tiramisu we've had previously:)

Went last night because I wanted a cocktail and dessert. Immediately was overwhelmed by the cigar smell. Couldn't even stay. Disappointed. Won't be going back.

Was exited to try this place out! First of all the smell of the place was a turn off. Service was mediocre, sat at the bar. Food was not great and I agree with some of the other reviews on pricey. Disappointed overall.

I absolutely love the food in this restaurant, true authentic Italian cuisine. The pasta is cooked perfectly aldente! The tortellini were delicious!!! And I also had the salmon harissa. Oh wow! Best Salmon I ever had in my life with the skin nice and crispy and the actual fish perfectt
