I'm super picky when it comes to Mexican food, especially when it comes to barbacoa. I was hesitant to order barbacoa because it's always a hit or miss up here in the DFW. I was feeling adventurous and decided to order the 1lb. barbacoa and some fresh corn tortillas. I was pleasantly surprised with both. I would really recommend!

A true Mexican market that makes me feel right at home (smells like fabuloso when you walk in). Staff could be more friendly, but once you start talking to them, they open up. Of the food I've ordered to go from here (mostly tacos haha), I have no complaints. I'm not crazy about the menudo, though, as it didn't taste fresh, but I would give it another shot.

Went to try it because of the reviews. Walked it, saw the busy counter. Was told we have to call in by phone, then they'll get the order and give to the kitchen. We decided to leave. Maybe they should POST a sign or something stating that? Not sure we'll go back but it was very busy. ‍

Prior 2019 notes I did not get a chance to finish Bring your dictionary menu is in Spanish. A couple ppl know English but others won't be able to translate or reply.Al pastor meat is flavorful but you will see the red pork oil on the wax paper.Barbacoa meat Bistec we assume was a beef ribs looks like.

The barbacoa tacos are good. I came here because of the Menudo reviews but honestly I was not a fan. It's missing something. A little kick for sure but other than that I can't pin point exactly what it is. Nice people though.

Mixed emotions. They have great food BUT, we order online. We wait and wait and nothing. So we check and the driver changed over and over. Finally we text the driver he said he got there and they said they already closed. SOOOO why accept our order in the 1st place? Why hasn't anyone told us the orde has been canceled. 2 minutes after driver told us they said they are closed, it showed a different driver again. All this time it shows as "wrapping up" not canceled not nothing. 1. They should not have accepted our order.2. We should not have waited 30 minutes before being told they are closed.3. THEY should have informed us NOT us finding out because we messaged the driver.Now it's late on a Sunday night and no dinner. So in short if close to 8PM DO NOT ORDER FRON THEM!!!! Even though they say "open" and they will accept your order. SMH

This place is hidden away on camp Bowie , but I'm glad I made the stop. Price is a reasonable and the food is very good. I got the posole which was really really good and filled with amazing rib meat, as well as the fried chicken plate (I didn't know it was fried). My wife had the gordita which she really enjoyed overall good spot and they have groceries as well as a meat market.
