So I found out about this taqueria from a friend I met recently. She said they have great tacos and we have a deal that I would try her place if she tried my place also. I came by today mind you it abou 14min away from my apartment. The place is a little whole in the wall location run and operated by 3 people. It has about 7 tables very small but reminds me of places back in south Texas. I saw the menu and everything looked good.I ordered 2 breakfast tacos on flour tortillas egg, bacon, and cheese and 3 fajita tacos on corn. Took about 5 minutes to make l. It was brought out to my table. The presentation was nothing special they ate just tacos.So let me just start with breakfast tacos they are not your regular size breakfast tacos they are very small, about the same size as the regular street tacos, which is a big disappointment. The flavor is good. The bacon egg and cheese all taste fantastic and can't really go wrong with breakfast tacos.I then tried the fajita tacos, and they came with double corn tortillas, which is good. The meat was flavor full but this was not fajita, more like bisteak because the meat was a little rubbery, which every taqueria tried to pass as fajita. I was born at night, not last night. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am. Plus, bisteak is cheaper to buy, so I'm pretty sure that's what it was. At 2 dollars a taco, come on, be honest. Tacos were good but nothing to rave about, just regular tacos. Place is a solid mid card contender.-Location 3 outa 10 place was super small.-Breakfast tacos 3 outa 10 would have got a higher score, but they were really 2 small for the price.-Street fajita really bisteak tacos 4 out 10 nothing special. Plus, I don't believe it was really fajitaThe red salsa was pretty good. Put it on all the tacos.All in all, I'd give this place a 3 at best. I've eaten at smaller places with better prices and food. Not to take away from this place, good spot to come too if you're craving taquitos for a quick fix. I just wouldn't go outa of my way again to come here.Update as I was about to leave, I saw the cook using a meat grinder def not fajita/skirt steak It was bisteak, which is a cheap cut of meat. Paid fajita prices for not fajita. For the 17 dollars I paid no really worth it.

They had a different cook tonight and it was not good. Really greasy barbacoa. Chicken had no flavor. So sad. It was good the 1st two times. If the woman is cooking. Try somewhere else.

I've been on the hunt for a good Mexican food restaurant for months! Way I test it out is with tacos.It's pretty hard to mess up a taco... but Los Pinos serves some DELICIOUS tacos. I ordered 6 tacos and 2 gorditas. The gorditas were also just as delicious. It looks to be a mom and pop restaurant. Place is basically a hole in the wall but a true gem. Do not expect a high dollar Mexican food restaurant... this surpasses that. This will be my go to spot without a doubt.

I love the Gordita's and the menudo from there. The service is great. Very clean. They are vey welcoming

After a friend took me for Gorditas I was hooked. The food was great and I kept coming back. Then i noticed something that was confirmed to me on my LAST time there. There's a kid that says he's the owner's son and I noticed that the price for the food would change when he was on the register. I always ordered the same thing but for some reason it would be a dollar higher every time he rung me up. Yesterday I went and again ordered the same thing. He verbally told me it was $27 which again was $1 more than I usually pay. I used my Apple Pay and when I received my notice it was $28.01. I asked the kid why it was not $27 like he said and he said "the credit card company is charging you that." I asked if it was a transaction fee passed on to me and he said no. So then I told him credit card companies don't do that so he switched and said it was extra for fajita meat. I told him I order the same thing all the time and the other person charges me $26. He said the other employee who is there a lot doesn't know the prices. I explained to him that it was bad business so he started being condescending and asked if I wanted my dollar back. I told him it wasn't about a dollar but about principle. If he thinks it's ok to overcharge me a dollar or two then he's doing it to others. I'm all for paying for service but not when you're being dishonest and think I'm stupid to believe your lame reasons for the overcharge. I will miss the food and will take my business elsewhere!!

I come here all the time when I have the chance to stop by in the area. The drive is always worth it. The atmosphere is great and welcoming. And the food is amazing and the best in Dallas. Also the service is top tier I am always spoken to and get a feeling of being at home.

The food is amazing and so is the service. They have the best tacos, gorditas and salsas. You can pick up or dine-in and there's something for everyone.

Fantastic place. We were passing through on the way to Louisiana. Food was authentic and awesome. We had Gorditas and tacos. Can't recommend enough.

I am Mexican and enjoyed these tacos very much so. I ordered for my office and we were all very happy with our choice. They young boy was so sweet, service was spectacular! Thank you for lunch!
