Tanya’s Cafe

Found this cute local breakfast spot. It was warm and cozy inside. Friendly staff and my to go order didn't take long. While I waited they gave me a big cup of coffee. Also, snagged a couple T-shirts to support their local restaurant. Large portions of food and now I'm about to take a nap. lol

Stopped in on the way to Possum Kingdom. Hole in the wall place that was packed for lunch hour. Food was good, but took 40 minutes to get to us. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but a solid option if you are in the area.

If you're in the area and hungry for some very homey and simple food, come here. You'll be happy you did!We came in starving and cold and ordered the chicken fried steak and the biscuits and gravy. While the chicken fried steak was very small (about the size of a hamburger patty) it was pretty tasty. I also noticed that the recent meat prices affected this restaurant and there was a sign at the entrance telling customers that some of their prices have recently gone up. I'm wondering if the CFS I ordered also had some portion control as well. Regardless, I still enjoyed my meal and my boyfriend seemed to really love his biscuits and gravy. You can't go wrong here. Friendly and fast service and good food.

The biscuits and gravy, the pancakes, and the breakfast burritos were all awesome! The staff was friendly. I'd definitely recommend stopping by!

One of the best breakfast places in Mineral Wells. Service was fast and friendly. Ambience was sweet, clean. It looked almost new.

Tanya's cafe is a breakfast lunch cafe. Closed at two in the afternoon. The food is delicious and rarely have I gone in when they were not packed! They also make the best pies. I highly recommend them!

We were looking for Mary's that Yelp listed at this address. Apparently ownership and name has changed. Food and service were okay.

The name has changed to Tanya's Cafe, so it was a little confusing at first. We are breakfast here and I had the Mess. Two open faced biscuits. With scrambled eggs and hash browns on top. Then the whole thing was covered in the best sausage cream Gravy, I've had in awhile. My coworker had the breakfast burrito, which was huge and delicious.The wait staff was very helpful and pleasant, especially for that early in the morning. The price for both meals was so reasonable, we decided to eat lunch there also.Our waitress recognized us as we walked and offered us the same table we had for breakfast. We both had the lunch specials, which came out very quickly. I had the hamburger steak/ brown gravy and my coworker had the chicken fried steak. We each had three vegetables, which weee fresh and seasoned just right. The meal came with a slice of spice cake, which tasted just like the ones my grandmother used to make. The meal included a drink for less than $10.Needless to say this is our new favorite breakfast and lunch place passing through Mineral Wells.
