First time here and OMG! Don't let the simple look of location fool you. Their food is delicious and at a great price too! I've always wanted ti try momos and we got a side of the habanero sauce...perfect! The sausage was crispy on the outside yet very juicy and flavorful. The beef was a bit tougher than I expected, but the flavor was good. Go behind the black door on the left as you enter...there is a beautiful hidden bar back there! I will definitely be back for more :)

(THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE SPEAKEASY)I was kinda disappointed at my experience here. I believe an event was being hosted so not their fault but the music was stopped in the speakeasy and really took away from the vibes/ambiance. It felt pretty overstimulating. 1. We ordered some steamed momos and since there was only 6 and 5 of us, we ate them fairly quick. The server brought in the sauce meant for the steamed momos AFTER we ate it 2. We were a party of 5 and got charged an automatic gratuity (meant for party of 6 or larger). The drinks were great! Happy hour was a good deal and I really enjoyed the iced masala chai. The noodles were unfortunately pretty dry and just tasted like the chili oil that it was served with. I thought the momos were decent though, I liked the chili flavored one!

This place has lots of cool fusions like chicken chow mein with the curry spice. Food is freshly made to order & is not too long a wait. They have assorted drinks, appetizers, meals & dessert. What's really cool is the bar area they have in the evening to order an adult beverage. Located in downtown Arlington there's a little bit of street parking and around surrounded areas.

Just stopped in on the way to go pick up my friend's daughter... I had an hour wait and I thought I'd give it a shot cause I've been really looking at it and it looks very interesting. When you walk in it looks like just a small tiny little To Go place, specializing in Nepal cuisine. But the special place is that there's a black door after 5pm, it opens up and becomes a bar, the same great food. It's intriguing. The food itself is very tasty. The Momo has a crunch and an even spice that's nicely balanced, but be careful cause it looks like nuclear hot... the dipping sauce is very tasty. There's no table service in the To Go section, but the lady is very friendly, can't wait to come back and try the bar.

Love this little spot. They serve great food lots of flavors. In the front they have an eating area, where you can order takeout also. If you go to the left-hand door that takes you back into the bar, which is a whole transformation and itself. The vibes are very dim and sexy! The service here is so great, all the bartenders were excellent and the food servers were excellent. I think what's great about this place is that they serve unique flavors and you can have a drink there as well. They have a whole list of cocktails with different types of alcohol.

Taipo is a beautiful restaurant with Tibet, Nepali and Indian dumplings. The staff is super friendly and offered to try out the chow mein and fried taipo. I am glad we went with their recommendation.

My only real experience with Nepalese momos, are a couple of places I have been to in Irving. My friend and I were looking for dumplings in Arlington, and this place has excellent reviews. We just ordered food at the counter, and did not go to the backroom for table service and cocktails. The front is very basic. Counter service, self serve drink fridge, and disposable containers. I ordered the pan fried pork momos in Szechuan sauce. It was a bright red sauce with some sauteed veg. I was expecting some heat, as is standard with szechwan cuisine. I was disappointed. The sauce was red, there were sauteed veggies, and it was on the oily side. However, it had NO heat. It didn't really even have much flavor. The dumplings themselves were pretty tasty, but the sauce was bland. I will go out of my way and head to Cafemandu in Irving. They are also open late.

Loved the ambiance, place wasn't too crowded, friendly bartender, tasty food and good drinks! We will definitely be returning. My guy ordered a shot of TX Whiskey and I ordered the Himalayan Old Fashioned with added smoke (see video).

Came here with my family tonight for some drinks and food. Service was great and the atmosphere was a good vibe. The momo was also damn tasty. I hear this place is new, so I highly recommend.
