Very impressed with this place. Not your average taco shop as they are representing their El Salvador roots. Food is very good. Friendly service. Very clean restaurant. Well done!

I have to start off saying I absolutely love this place, and I have been going 1-2 times a week, almost every week since they opened. But lately, something has changed. I 100% understand the prices going up, but to put little to zero meat in it, I can't accept. This is the 3rd time in a row where my Torta or Burrito only had a tablespoon of meat. This time, with my torta, it was more like a teaspoon. Please review pictures for proof. I will give this place 1 more try because their food is really good, especially the Barbacoa and Papusas. But not worth $13+, because it is all bread and lettuce!!!

SOME OF MY FAVORITE TACOS! Especially the lengua tacos!!! Man I could eat 5 of those alone. It's a simple decor and simple set up but the service is quick and the staff is very friendly. My son loved the chicken pupusa and my husband loved the steak pupusa. We're going again tomorrow!

This is my favorite place for pupusas. I definitely recommend their tostadas with pastor, it is so flavorful, just trust me. Flautas are also delicious, very cheesy and chicken tastes good (some places have plain bland chicken in their flautas). Just a disclaimer, food is made to order so you may have to wait a bit so if you're in a hurry, I recommend calling in your order.

Loved the PUPUSAS. So flavorful. I ordered the loroco. The curtido is great. The tomato sauce is a little watery for my liking but flavor is fine. Will definitely come back for pupusas.

FOOD INSTAGRAM: @northtx.gemz**** WHAT THEY'RE KNOWN FOR: a Salvadoran and Mexican food spot serving pupusas, tacos, burritos, and gorditas (and WAY more). THE VIBE: typical grab and go place. They lowkey have a lunch rush so honestly I would enjoy my meal inside of here next time especially with all the good salsas to choose from! PRICE: ~$14 WOULD I COME BACK? Yes. ****Overall Rating: 9/10- Ever since one of my old Salvadoran coworkers brought pupusas to work I've been obsessed and looking for a place to have them at. - Tacusa is one of those hidden gems that have locations in Fort Worth, Hurst, & Arlington that I had no idea about! - I will say these pupusas are HUGE and the ones I first had were smaller and able to carry around and eat but this one is filled with cheese and meat to the brim. This is not a light meal at all so be prepared to eat! I will even say that this one plate could feed two people. - The pupusas take longer to cook so be patient with the staff. I swear it's worth the wait! The flavor of the chicken was spicy and flavorful. The loroco pupusa is a traditional plant that is often cooked with cheese in pupusas. It reminded me of cactus! Not really much flavor from the plant but still a good texture. - The salsas are so spicy but so flavorful and good. Rice and beans were packed with underlying flavors. My mouth is watering while I type this. This meal is decadent and filling so be prepared to eat if you try Tacusa out!

Definitely more Salvadorian than Mexican when it comes to Latin American food, but the breakfast tacos were pretty good. Salsa is pretty runny, so don't go if you prefer chunky. Have heard good things about their pupusas, so I'll have to return to try those.

The food here is AMAZING! The chicken pupusas are my favorite but all pupusa options are delish. The elote is the best I've ever had, it's super flavorful and not watery. The chicken flautas are also the best I've ever had. The horchata is very good as well. Everything is made fresh, highly recommend!
