Tacos Facio Y Guisados

Taco Tuesday of course calls for tacos, it's almost law that you eat tacos on Tuesdays, or at least it is in my household. I always get excited to try birria tacos from a new spot . I've had some great tacos from a number of places , but I'm always looking to see if I can find a birria taco from one place that makes me immediately stop searching . In my search for birria tacos in waxahachie , this place was the 2nd place on the list, the first one listed was a place that I had already tried. I almost gave up on try this spot because i literally unknowingly drove past this restaurant in a circle 4 times . The location being downtown waxahachie, you'd expect that parking would have been the reason for that . Only parking was multiple in front of this restaurant. The issue was the marketing / advertisement is almost nonexistent. It's hard to locate this place because the color of the building and choice of coloring for the decals. I luckily found it because my GPS said I was literally live at the location and I seen a hanging sign that said open. I was greeted by a very friendly older Hispanic man who was operating the cashier. Had so really hyped music playing , and he danced and sang alone , it was so adorable. I ordered 2 birria tacos and 2 birria rolls and drink , I paid a little over $20. I like that the food is made when you ordered . Where I was standing I could see a lady freshly chopping up meats and making hot sauce . While I waited for my order to be prepared , the guy operating the front end / register insisted that I try each the drinks that they had available. I fell In love with the cucumber and lime juice. It was so refreshing ,. I could definitely see myself enjoying a large slightly frozen cup of this concoction this blazing hot summer that's quickly and rudely approaching. Another couple came in to dine and you could tell by the way they ordered by not even acknowledging the menu and taking a seat in the back that they were regulars. A couple of things that I didn't care too much for was the being given my total and having to pay after my food was completed . Only because I would have hated for them to have cooked that stuff to find out that I didn't have enough. And then there were a lot of fruit flies flying around. I didn't hold that against them because it's that time of the year and I could also see that they were using fresh fruits and vegetable The talks and the rolls were really good . I liked that my tacos were really Crunchy and crispy but not burnt . The birria rolls weren't prepared how I expected them to be. Which is like an egg-roll and crispy, instead it gave me more of a pig in the blanket type of vibes . Nevertheless, it was really good as well and they can get you really full. The consome was very bland !! It tastes like complete NOTHING. As if it were just water with onions and cilantro floating around. They have really good red and green hot sauce. You know it's good when you save some to eat with some fried chicken overall I will absolutely be returning to the taco spot .

Excellent steak quesadilla, street tacos and elote! Unfortunately they ran out of birria on the day I visited, but this place is still well worth a stop for the other items on the menu. Server was friendly and they make it all fresh so expect a wait. Little covered patio area available at the salon area next door and nobody complained about us having dogs so seems dog friendly.... Honestly not sure how the property sets that up since you're technically by the salon and not the restaurant.

Quesabirras, la Cubana Torta, and Machete are all excellent and definitely worth it. People are sweet as could be. Tiny hole in the wall so calling in for pick up may be best, there's a nice Rail yard park up the street it you'd like somewhere to sit and eat in the area. Parking is difficult directly in front of the store, so it's easier to park around the block then walk a few steps for pick up.

Well, let me start off by saying the chorizo tacos are great sometimes. For instance, I bought some on Easter Sunday morning when they first opened. The chorizo was cooked perfectly. It was so good, I decided to order the same on Monday morning around 10:30, and the chorizo was BURNT. When I first started patronizing this place, the chorizo was my go-to item. I would order first thing when they opened, but then they started declining. So I stopped going for a while. The point is, maybe the chorizo is cooked in the morning, and for the remainder of breakfast, they warm it for each order, which I highly suggest they don't do that. Nevertheless, I'll have to find another place that can prepare the chorizo fresh and give this establishment a break.

Food was phenomenal! We had the street tacos, birria eggrolss, and elotes. Everything was hot. The salsa had just the right amount of spice. People were super friendly. Will definitely be back soon!

Service was very good in this little take out taco shop. They have a few tables if u want to dine in which we chose to do. Prices are reasonable. Plainly put, it was the food that just wasn't good. The pork dishes were grisley and fat, some pieces we just had to spit out. The tortillas r from a factory. The refried beans from a can and the rice- dull. If u r going to advertise yourself as a taco shop, something should be homemadeabout the tacos.

Just delicious! Street tacos. Elote. Hot chips with salsa. Jaritos. It was really so good. We sat on the patio for lunch. I will go back soon and venture out on the menu. The street tacos were just so yummy!

This place is a hidden gem in downtown Hachie. Very friendly and excellent food. I highly recommend the quesabirria tacos and birria rolls. Best birria I've had.

We have been wanting to go here, the service was fast, everything is made as you wait so ho with time. The food is really good. #quesobirria tacos. Love it ,need to go back for the machete or the huarache. And breakfast tacos.

Weve tried this place 3 times and each time it has been 0 stars. The meat is always full of tendons so you end up with three tiny pieces of good meat in your tacos. We ordered a torta and the barbacoa tasted like tuna. The employees are incredibly nice it's unfortunate that the food is not great at all.
