Love the menu. It's tasteful and unique without trying to make it "too creative"... because tacos don't need to be super complicated. The food tastes great and the wine selection is fantastic. I've been here twice; once during happy hour with the girls and another time during the evening for a date. I took off one star because the bathroom didn't look well maintained/cleaned and because our server one night kept forgetting about our table even though it wasn't a busy night. It's a cute spot in bishop arts but it is a little farther away from the rest of the shops on the popular little strip of boutiques. I would say it's worth a visit and it's a nice spot if you want to chill outside on a good weather day with some tacos. Yum!

Really enjoyed my first visit at Taco y Vino! Nestled in the beautiful Bishop Arts neighborhood, the wine bar gave me warm vibes the second we walked in. The dining area/bar is tight. We came in around 2pm on a Monday and it was the perfect time to grab a table. But from the looks of it, the back patio looked like it could hold tons of people. I bet October is a perfect time to come back and visit. Tacos were amazing! And the Mexican Coke was a nice touch. I didn't try any wine or cocktails this time around but stay tuned.

If you're looking for an authentic Bishop Arts experience, this is the spot! Taco y Vino gave me everything I needed for a Monday lunch pick me up and more! The business, in typical Bishop arts fashion, is a house transformed into a restaurant, making it super cozy and relaxing to hang in. I ordered the quesobirra and it was amazing! It took a while to come to the table but it was definitely worth the wait! The tacos were a very generous size and the entree came with three! Including the broth. My friend ordered the three tacos and was very fulfilled by each! We ended up taking some Togo because they were so good.

I don't give five stars on this app very often. I just LOVED this place so much. The bartender was our server, Stephen was the best. So friendly and attentive, made great recommendations. The food was very unique but not totally unfamiliar. The vibe in there is so chill and the fool was just delicious. Huge wine selection and brunch options until 3pm. I can't wait to go back. 10/10

When my friend and I walked up, we were greeted by the manager. He asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. We saw the front patio and several sitting spots inside. We chose inside, but as we walked in, we saw a back patio, and we asked to sit out there, but we were told that we had to sit up front first. So we find a table inside. As we sat, our waiter, Jonathan, came over to help us. We ordered our drink, which was only $1.01. We got a prickly pear margarita. It was a little sweet, but it was still good. We also choose to get some tacos. You get $3 for $13, which was a good deal. We got a fried avocado taco that we split, I got the fish taco, and she got a brisket taco. They were all good and all flavored well. They have multiple options, so we will definitely come back to try more options. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because probably about 10 minutes after being there, folks started going out to the back patio even though the front porch was not full. Also parking was very limited if you don't want to pay but fortunately we found free street parking. Jonathan came back to check on us multiple times and made some wonderful recommendations to make sure we enjoyed our meal. You can tell there are a lot of regulars because Jonathan knew most of the customers and was very social with them. I would definitely stop by again, and hopefully, I can check out the back patio.

Taco y Vino was an incredibly positive experience, seamlessly blending inviting ambiance, impeccable service, and exceptional cuisine for a memorable dining adventure that perfectly combines the best of Mexican tacos and curated wines. The outstanding quality of the food at Taco y Vino truly stood out. From fresh, high-quality ingredients to careful attention to detail in preparation, each taco was a burst of authentic Mexican flavors. The homemade tortillas added a delightful touch, enhancing the overall dining experience. I tried their chilaquiles, poblano pepper taco, and the daily special posole soup - all were fresh, well-seasoned, and flavorful, with ingredients that felt genuinely authentic. The wine selection complemented the food beautifully, adding an extra layer to the overall dining experience.ambiance has a cool and inviting vibe with cozy decor like brick walls and artsy touches. It's the kind of place where you feel comfortable and ready for a good time. The top-notch service, led by our friendly and knowledgeable server, added a personal and fun touch to the experience. It's a winning combination of a great atmosphere and excellent service

I loved my day here. First off, daily brunch special is wonderful. Came here on a Friday with a friend who was in from out of town and had brunch at 2 pm. A bottle of bubbles for $20 with breakfast tacos and corn was elite. The food was good, not anything extraordinary but did the job. I enjoyed their hot sauce. I loved the bartenders. We sat at the bar and they were so friendly. We love that they have record player. They let us choose the music and we just vibed and talked to them. It was such an easy going place and a great time to meet up with friends !

This place is full of personality and Excellent Food. You must have the bean and cheese quesadillas!!! One of the most satisfying foods!! The atmosphere is 3 dimensional. The sitting out front is quaint with a sweet little cat that visits regularly. The bar restaurant area is fun and exciting, with a great DJ on Saturday nights. Even the women's bathroom is worth a visit with fun comic book photos on the wall. I didn't make it to the back part of the restaurant but have a strong pull to go back for more. Love it

Dang this place fills up fast- and for good reason! Flavorful food, service that's engaging, and reasonable prices, what's not to love? Came by on a Friday at 5:30 and while it was empty when we first got there, soon filled completely up! Our server, Steven, was amazing. He really took it from. 4 star experience to 5 stars! Suggesting we get a bottle of 'birthday bubbles' to celebrate our birthday girl and answering all menu questions with patience. The food was delicious and accommodating for all the different food restrictions we had in the group, vegetarian. Gluten- free, etc. The overall noise in rhetoric restaurant picked up as it was completely full. It was a Friday, so the restaurant vibe was energetic and definitely ready to kick off the weekend. Oh, and they have happy hour all day on Thursdays... so definitely going back for that!

Taco Y Vino is a top notch Bishop Arts District joint. Hostess and servers were nice and fast as could be, prices were reasonable, and tacos were delicious. Normally that'd be enough for a 5/5 star, but I'm making the unorthodox decision to dock the place for the interior decorating. Read on if you too care about the visual vibe of a restaurant. When you enter Taco Y Vino you're greeted with a neon light strip behind the bar (gives sophomore-in-college frat house), after which you're hit with a high-top exclusive dining room (gives Scottish Pub), and finally you look to your right to see stacks of cardboard boxes along the entire east wall (gives Amazon distribution center). This is all in a converted 2 bed 1 bath house that's been converted into a taco and wine restaurant. Conflicting themes can be endearing, but in Taco Y Vino's case it made me do a double take to check if I was in the right place. Taco Y Vino looks as bad as it tastes good.
