Taco Vida

Placed a to go order for a birria street taco with no cheese. The taco was very well flavored and it came with tons of salsa and toppings. The green salsa was amazing! I will be back to try some other stuff!

This has been on our short list for their Birriea tacos, for quite some time. We have been on a search for the best Birriea tacos in the FW area.So we ventured out on a weeknight and found them easily. Just off 820 on Hwy 377 in Haltom City. It looks like an old fast food building they converted. We were the second set of customers inside at 7:30 for dinner. The menu is slightly confusing so be sure you ask questions. The girl taking our order at the counter didn't speak English so another employee came over and helped us through our order. We made our order and sat down. Unfortunately had to change tables twice because both tables that appeared clean were dirty. My arms were sticking to the table tops. The third time I sat down at I used a few wet napkins and wiped off some brown stuff. It also "appeared" clean. Moving on we got our order about 15 mins later. We both ordered the quesa Birriea tacos. We shared an order of the ramen noodles. I got a side of the borracha beans. They were ok. Sadly the meat in the tacos just didn't have a lot of flavor. That is the most important part of these tacos. Some seasoning of the brisket would do wonders. The beans were good but also lacked more seasoning. The noodles were good. Piping hot too! Overall it was ok, however we continue on looking for the best Birriea tacos in Fort Worth.

Good birria tacos (we got with cheese) but the consommé isn't doing much. I would skip the more expensive consume plate and just get the tacos. I also tried the birria ramen but I wouldn't recommend it. Didn't knock my socks off, no. Was it a perfectly fine lunch, sure. Compared to other taco shops with consommé this one needs to work on their depth of flavor but the tacos, cheese and meat are nicely proportioned, cooked, and taste perfectly fine. The interior can accommodate a variety of groups, but I would consider carpooling as there is not much parking. I didn't notice if you could park on the street or not so it looks to be 10 to 12 spots available. A comfortable stop, clean and easy to get in and out of and good for any size group.

Loved loved loved the food. We tried everything except for the birria ramen since they ran out, and everything was flavorful and well priced. Tacos were had a crunch and weren't over oily which has been a downfall for many birria places. Only thing I wished is they had chips or fries for the hotdog or torta. But it's on a regular places

This was my first time attending this facility and I must say I was very pleased with the service and the food. I love how traditional the restaurant is with their authenticity and the love for their country. The facility was so clean from the outside to the inside. I really enjoyed the family setting. The music was beautiful. I love God and you can tell his presence is in that place. I love how family oriented it is. Beautiful decorations. 10 out of 10. Me and my boys really enjoyed our time here. The music and setting was so vibrant I wanted to stand up and dance. It was a pleasure attending this facility. May your cup be never empty and continues to overflow. Many blessings.

All good honestly would recommend really liked the ambiance service good and food really enjoyed it but was honestly little bit expensive for small portion of food but other than that was really good

Great taco shop - delicious birria tacos! The Birria ramen was super popular - I'm excited to try it next time! The inside was clean, had fun music, and great for a casual lunch or dinner- dine in or pick up. Great service, friendly and made-to-order food. Very fair pricing for the quantity & quality as well.The tacos had great flavor, lots of melted cheese, and plenty of cilantro, onion, lime, and consume on the side. Warning - the green sauce is SPICY! We will absolutely be back soon.

The place is very clean. They were out of charro beans and a tile when we arrived at 6. We ordered 3 Birria tacos and the Ramen with a boiled egg. Service is timely with each of the tacos made to order. This was my 1st time having proper Birria tacos and my 1st time was very enjoyable. Initially I tried a bite with no embellishment, just the taco. The meat, cheese and tortilla were delicious, but when you add the accoutrements, the flavor is next level. The consume, cilantro, onions and lime combine to give you an almost perfect bite. It was also my 1st time having Birria Ramen. I've had plenty of traditional ramen bowls, but this fusion of Mexican and Asian flavors will make you very happy. Get 2 eggs and enjoy the goodness that this place has created. They don't skimp on the cilantro and onions, and the 2 accompanying sauces are very flavorful, our favorite was the red, not quite as spicy as the green. Make sure to check the hours of operation and get there early so they're not out of anything. I'd suggest ordering ahead for take out or just to save time and eat you call ahead order there. The dessert menu looked very good but we had no room. Hint, take the leftover ramen home and use a package of your noodles at home to have another bowl of the excellent soup. I can see this place expanding with multiple locations across the city, it's that good!

Taco Vida is a good one. The conceot here is pretty simple. You walk in, order, and the food is quickly made to order.The Service: It's really good. They greet you, and are nice and friendly.The parking: it may be packed on the weekend so be prepared to park on the grass. The decor/ambiance: It's simple with lil taco piñatas haging here and there. The tables are nice and clean, and the mexican music in the background playing was nice to listen to. The food: they only sell beef. There's no other meat options at all. Now, the beef tasted like it was a marinated roast beef. It was good; they give you a ton of it. Whether you order a taco, quesadilla,, ramen....whatever you order, you're getting a lot of beef. Overall the food was decent. If you're a beef fan you'll love it. If not, skip this one.
