GUYS. Plastic in my burrito.
We stopped here for a road trip snack. Didn't know that a huge piece of plastic was part of the chicken supreme burrito. Grossed out.

This place is just, awful. I had a taco plate and pulled right over to eat. I was starving, and it was cold, there was hardly any filling, so it was mostly shell, and the rice tasted like minute rice with literally no seasoning. The beans were OK, but the portions were so small, that I can't even toss a star for that. Never again, I'd rather be hungry than eat here again. The drive thru guy was nice enough, but gave me the cheapest kind of hot sauce like the kind you get at a convenience store, just terrible.

The food is good, but the employees are resentful of the customers. Don't dare ask for extra hot sauce at the drive thru. The guardian of the hot sauce became so angry she couldn't even speak. How much do they pay her to gaurd the hot sauce?

my co-workers and I go to taco-d at least once a week, I enjoy watching them fix my food, the food is always great and doesn't upset my stomach, ibs issues and taco-d is one of the few places in town that do not make my stomach ill, we always have tacos, taco salad, the only place in town that the taco shell is not soggy before I finish the salad, everything is fresh and not overly highly seasoned that causes problemsWAY TO GO TACO D_THANKS

I don't usually give bad reviews but I'm completely baffled as to how this place got the award for the "Best Taco of Hood County 2013". I can think of at least 7 or 8 other places in Granbury that are light years beyond the quality at this place. Do yourself a favor and go to Mi Familia, Garcia's, El Solar, Papa Chulo's, Carlita's, Monte's, Sabor Mexicano, or Don Melquias. Heck even El Chico, Taco Bueno, Taco Bell, Fuzzy's, and Jack in the Box have better tacos than this crap. Oops. That's 13. Just off the top of my head. Oh hey, Taco Casa just opened too.

The new owner has done a great job a getting the food quality were it needs to be. My husband use to hate Taco D, now he begs for it at least once a week. Just went last night and you could tell everything was fresh and hadn't been sitting around all day drying up. Plus you'll get you money's worth. My husband's bean burritos was twice the size of other places in town to were he couldn't even eat it all. Place was very very clean and I'm loving the new decor. Alittle goes a long way in my book!

We have gone to Taco D many times. I personally love it it's a small place you can them as they make your food. The meat is much better then that of taco bueno. It is reasonably priced and they give you Xtra large drinks. Love love love this place.

Went here with my husband for the first time because we wanted to try a place that was different than Taco Be** and believe in supporting small businesses. Loved that they wear gloves. We wanted to try a little bit of everything. I ordered the #2 (hard taco, burrito, chalupa) and gave the burrito to my husband. He ordered the #5 (soft chicken taco) and we ordered the Nacho Supreme and a tamale. The nachos were plentiful and very good as was the tamale. The taco was well filled with meat but I thought the meat could use more seasoning. His meal included rice and beans. I was expecting rice and beans with my order as well but didn't get it so I don't know if I read the menu wrong or not but will double check next time for clarity. On a side note the chalupa is similar to Taco Be**'s tostada, flat with toppings, not boat shaped with the thicker textured fried shell but technically is still correct in being described as a chalupa since both versions are accurate. We paid a little over $17. Overall, we ate everything. They could use more seasoning for a deeper flavor profile. Can't put my finger on just what was missing in the taco meat: (salt, pepper, garlic n' onion powders, oregano, paprika, cumin, chili powder, red pepper flakes?) Service is fast and friendly so we will return to try other items.

Went and bought some nachos and crispy tacos super stale and called to complain all she did was laugh and say well the owner made them himself this morning and I know we didn't take more than 10 minutes to get home and it was all soggy cheese all clumped in the middle and all cold, taco shells were stale like store bought beans not gonna eat there anymore and we used to go there all the time, should have just cooked real food at home
