Sushi Zen Japanese Bistro

Perfectly fine place but nothing special. A casual family dinner place, not a place for a date or special occasion. I think they were short staffed as there was little service.

Good dope. Good sushi and sashimi and you can see them make it live! Clean place and well maintained. Huge menu with so many options too! Decently priced. Can be a bit long to get seated because of how packed it gets. Good service

I was at this restaurant last Monday with family for lunch, every time I visited Texas I make sure I eat here. I love the Sushi and Sashimi bento, so much much and they are so good but my favorite is the soft shell crab salad, it was devine! The crab is fresh and it was delish!, I am sure will be back on my next visit.

Sushi Zen is celebrating their 15 year anniversary with a specialty discounts on select items. We had several that landed on the 4 star mark. The Udon broth was satisfying and I enjoyed the crunch of the Fire Cracker. The Avocado Bomb was a miss. The fried sides turn the tuna into brown tasteless mush. I wish they had real tea but service was fine and the food came out quickly. A bit run down with tears in the benches this place would use an upgrade but food quality is nice. Recommend for quick lunch spot when you're short on time but still want something fresh.

Everyone in our party was pretty impressed by the food at this nice Japanese restaurant. The takoyaki was nice and hot and my niece tried them for the first time and loved them. My husband and I got two different poke bowls and both were delicious. My brother in law ordered ramen and he really enjoyed and my niece and sister ordered sushi rolls and sashimi. The sashimi is substantial in size and very tasty. I would come back here again.

Always good food served here! Delicious fresh sushi rolls. Bento box are a great value and include a salad and soup. Lunch and dinner can both get crowded. Line moves fast if you need to wait. Easy parking, clean restrooms, friendly staff.Beer and wine. They also offer specials of the day/week with rolls.Offer take out too!

Always delicious . Our party of 6 ordered several rolls that they served on a boat. Great service and a comfortable place to be. The menu is loaded with pictures so know what you are getting when you order.

My nephew treated me to some take out- he said this place was great...and it was. I had the soup with noodles and chicken and he had several items- a chicken dish and sushi. It was very tasty and perfectly spiced.

This restaurant made my fiancé & I sick almost immediately. We just wasted over $100 on this place just to get sick from room temp, mushy fish that is clearly not fresh. The soft shell crab was absolutely foul & clearly old, like it had been made days ago & came to room temp throughout the day. The bluefin tuna was mushy, smelly, and room temp. We are here based on Yelp reviews & clearly everyone else had a different experience. The appetizers were fine and service was prompt, but nothing about the sushi that we ordered was fresh, firm, appetizing, or nice-smelling. I normally don't write reviews like this but I need to warn you based on this horrendous experience tonight. We left with $60 of inedible sushi in a box. Terrible experience!

Wow, the last time I was here was 7 years ago! It was the first time for my nieces and I back then, and they have been hooked ever since. Came in myself recently to pick up a to-go order and this place was busy on a Tuesday evening! The interior is smaller and intimate which leads to a wait. There is limited bar seating. Lots of people picking up to-go orders as well. The food is still good but pack your patience whether you're picking up or dining in. It's busy, it's chaotic, but it's delicious. Good quality sushi. The Southlake roll is still my favorite!
